How much do digital marketing directors make in New York?
Digital marketing directors in New York earn a median of about $181,200 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,140 for the lowest 10% to over $324,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire digital marketing directors in New York?
Employers hiring digital marketing directors in New York right now include Newrez, Columbia University, and Gen Digital, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The most realistic path for candidates without director experience is moving up from a senior manager or lead role within the same organization. New York agencies and large brand-side marketing teams frequently promote from within when a channel lead demonstrates ownership of budget and results.
