Partner Program Manager Jobs in Minneapolis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a partner program manager job in Minneapolis?
Focus your search on Minneapolis's dense clusters of enterprise software companies in the North Loop, financial services firms downtown, and the large healthcare technology ecosystem anchored near the Medical Alley corridor. Candidates who demonstrate experience structuring channel or reseller programs, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and using CRM tools like Salesforce tend to stand out. Networking through local technology councils and Minneapolis-based startup communities also surfaces roles before they reach major job boards.
Which companies hire partner program managers in Minneapolis?
Companies currently hiring partner program managers in Minneapolis include Thrivent, Esri, and Ameriprise Financial, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minneapolis draws a mix of large Fortune 500 employers with established partner ecosystems and fast-growing mid-market software and fintech firms that are building out channel programs for the first time.
Are there remote partner program manager jobs in Minneapolis?
Yes, partner program manager work is moderately remote-friendly given its focus on strategic planning, communications, and program coordination rather than physical presence. About 56% of partner program manager openings tied to Minneapolis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader flexibility in the tech and financial services sectors. Partner relationship management and program reporting work tends to be most amenable to remote arrangements, while partner onboarding and in-market activations typically require local presence.
How can I get a partner program manager job in Minneapolis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Minneapolis is moving laterally from a channel sales, account management, or marketing operations role at one of the city's mid-size software or financial technology companies, where partner programs are still maturing and employers hire for potential. Local employers in the Medical Alley health tech cluster and North Loop SaaS scene frequently promote from within or bring in candidates from adjacent roles. Building familiarity with partner relationship management platforms and earning a relevant vendor certification gives entry-level candidates a practical edge in local interviews.
Which industries hire the most partner program managers in Minneapolis?
The sectors hiring the most partner program managers in Minneapolis are Technology & Software, Investment & Asset Management, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minneapolis's concentration of enterprise software companies, major financial institutions with vendor ecosystems, and one of the country's largest health technology clusters creates sustained local demand for professionals who can manage and grow partner relationships.
