We’re looking for an analytical and self-driven intern to join our 2027 Summer Intern Cohort at Bridgewater Bank within the Product Management team. The ideal candidate will support product strategy, research, documentation, project coordination, and operational activities that help improve the client and banker experience across Bridgewater Bank’s commercial and consumer product portfolios.
Our internship program is designed to immerse students in real-world banking experiences, enhancing their academic learning with meaningful corporate exposure. Interns will apply the knowledge and skills gained in college to impactful projects that contribute to our organization’s success.
Throughout the program, interns will:
- Collaborate with Bridgewater employees on innovative initiatives aligned with our vision.
- Participate in departmental meetings to gain insight into strategic decision-making.
- Lead individual projects and present their work to the Intern Cohort, as well as to our Operational and Senior Leadership Teams.
Program Duration: May 25, 2027 – August 20, 2027
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support product managers with research, analysis, and documentation for banking product offerings.
- Assist with gathering and organizing product requirements, process flows and competitive insights.
- Help update and maintain product documentation, assets, backlogs, roadmaps, and other project materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Treasury Management, Digital Banking, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and Technology, to support product initiatives.
- Assist with data collection and basic analysis to identify trends, adoption patterns, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency or client experience.
- Support preparation of presentations, business cases, product updates, training materials, and communications for internal stakeholders.
- Learn and apply product management practices in a banking environment, with a focus on client experience, operational discipline, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must be:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Product Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong interest in banking, financial services, product management, digital banking, treasury management, or client experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to support employee-facing benefits and payroll communications in a clear, professional, and helpful manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Detail-oriented, curious, dependable, and able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred skills
- Experience with research, data analysis, process documentation or presentation development.
- Familiarity with banking products, fintech, digital tools, payments, treasury management, or client-facing technology.
- Ability to synthesize information, identify themes, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Interest in learning how product strategy, risk management, operations, and client experience come together in a banking environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The hourly base pay range for this role is $22/hr. Bridgewater Bank provides:
- 2 Paid Holidays and PTO accrued in compliance with MN ESST Law
