As a Product Manager in Liquidity & Account Solutions Deposit Management, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value.
This role has direct scope across on-balance sheet deposit solutions (including Earnings Credit Rate (ECR), interest-bearing deposits, and hybrid structures) and associated pricing frameworks. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Treasury/ALM, Finance, Risk/Controls, Operations, and Technology) to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and own the product strategy, roadmap, and business requirements for the Liquidity & Account Solutions Deposit Product portfolio, aligning product vision with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Manage a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Partner with Sales to identify and evaluate new product opportunities through user research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis that address evolving client needs and market dynamics.
- Assess upstream and downstream impacts of new features and enhancements to ensure seamless integration across the product ecosystem and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Lead user research initiatives, including journey mapping, usability studies, and market analysis, to inform the strategic roadmap and identify high-value features that solve customer pain points.
- Analyze, track, and evaluate key product metrics including adoption rates, feature utilization, deposit portfolio performance, and rate betas to measure success and drive data-informed product decisions.
- Conduct advanced portfolio analysis to identify market trends, assess client behavior patterns, and develop strategic recommendations that enhance competitive positioning and accelerate revenue growth.
- Own and evolve pricing frameworks for on-balance sheet deposits (ECR, interest-bearing deposits, and hybrid structures), including governance of rate plans, beta/sensitivity monitoring, and performance guardrails.
- Partner with Treasury and Finance to evaluate balance sheet and liquidity considerations and incorporate them into product strategy, pricing recommendations, and prioritization.
- Drive commercialization and operating readiness (sales enablement, playbooks, rollout planning, and feedback loops) to ensure adoption and consistent execution across channels.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related domain.
- Demonstrated experience owning and improving products, including prioritizing enhancements, managing production issues, and driving measurable improvements to client experience and operational outcomes.
- Demonstrated data analytics skills, including experience executing complex, large-scale analytical processes to support business development.
- Experience leading product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytics, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience in wholesale deposits, liquidity/cash management, or transaction banking, with demonstrated understanding of on-balance sheet deposit products and pricing dynamics (e.g., ECR and interest-bearing structures).
- A track record of setting and managing product outcomes with KPIs (portfolio performance, rate sensitivity/betas, adoption/utilization) and turning insight into decisions.
- Proven ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed environments across Sales, Treasury/ALM, Finance, Risk/Controls, Operations, and Technology.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to produce concise business cases, decision memos, and stakeholder-ready updates that clearly articulate trade-offs.
- Experience establishing governance and controls for product/pricing changes (documentation, approvals, and monitoring) to support scalable and consistent execution.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred background in liquidity management or other related function under transaction banking.
- Proficiency in data analytics (Excel, Python, SQL).
- Prior experience in implementing process improvements and supporting system migrations preferred.
- Familiarity with pricing governance and exception-based decisioning frameworks in a regulated financial environment.
