Job Summary:
T h is position assists in operating the parts storeroom and maintaining the machine parts inventory. Duties also include receiving and delivering parts to maintenance techs. Duties and responsibilities may be added , deleted , or changed at any item at the discretion of management formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
Supervisory Responsibilities If Any: No
Duties / Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
General housekeeping and organization of parts room , auxiliary parts locations, and truck shop.
Inventory verification of machine parts in storeroom .
Enter new stock into Imaint .
Cycle Count & adjust inventory.
Work with the purchasing agent to maintain proper stocking levels through mi n /m a x program.
Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to management.
For rebuild and warranty track key compone nts by serial number.
Receive P arts :
Verify packing slips verses PO. Identify exceptions and report to purchasing agent.
Enter receipts into inventory.
Stock shelves with incoming parts.
Upon delivery , verify bin stock and VMI
Organize/Stage parts and materials for upcoming projects.
Issue Parts :
While on duty, issue all parts to an asset using a work order.
Ensure that off duty parts and material are issued to an asset using a work order.
Deliver parts to techs with great customer service.
Administer Work Order:
Record emergency work on a work order. Detailed description, hours worked, and parts issued.
Review plan CM and PM for daily work assignments. Close work orders.
Verifying machine parts location.
Improvements:
Bar code parts room when directed.
Look for ways to improve customer service to techs and maintenance supervis ion .

Ability to prioritize needs.
Ability to work in a demanding environment with frequent time constraints .
Ability to plan for systematic results.
Ability to reason potential solutions & apply best solution to problems encountered .

Classes and certifications are valuable, but not required .
Mechanical aptitude is required .
1-year minimum industrial mechanics or parts room experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry boxes of supplies up to 40 lbs. to store in the parts room .
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must be ablet to operate a forklift.
Must be able to sit intermitten tly and enter data into database.
Must be able to work on feet for periods of time in storeroom.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee constantly works in the parts room and in a production floor setting. Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. Expose to loud noise level in the work environment.
