Entry Level Pediatric Audiologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level pediatric audiologist job?
Start by completing your Au.D. externship in a pediatric setting, since hands-on clinical hours with infants and children are what entry level employers look for most. Familiarity with diagnostic tools like ABR and OAE testing, a strong clinical rotation record, and any experience with early intervention programs will give you a clear edge over candidates without that direct pediatric exposure.
Which companies hire entry level pediatric audiologists?
Companies hiring entry level pediatric audiologists right now include NationsBenefits, SSM Health, and Driscoll Children's Hospital, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, children's hospitals, pediatric ENT practices, school districts, and early intervention programs are among the most active employers welcoming new and junior candidates.
Are there remote entry level pediatric audiologist jobs?
Yes, though remote options are limited given the hands-on nature of pediatric hearing assessments. About 7% of entry level pediatric audiologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with telehealth roles typically focused on follow-up consultations, parent counseling, or tele-audiology screening rather than full diagnostic work.
Are these new grad pediatric audiologist jobs?
Yes, the roles listed here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior pediatric audiologist positions. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts clinical externship or supervised placement hours toward its requirements, or explicitly accepts a strong portfolio of pediatric cases in place of full-time work history.
Which industries hire the most entry level pediatric audiologists?
Entry Level pediatric audiologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Distribution & Wholesale, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they operate dedicated pediatric care pathways, early hearing detection programs, and school-based services that consistently need Au.D. graduates to fill frontline clinical positions.
