Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role will maintain HR systems and records, coordinate interviews and onboarding activities, while also assisting with various HR programs and initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS databases for new hires.
- Schedule and oversee pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug testing.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
- Process new hire, employee status change, and termination documentation.
- Ensure employee records and HR data are accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Source active and passive candidates through job boards, employee referrals, direct recruiting, and other sourcing channels.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Support benefits administration and annual open enrollment activities.
- Generate reports, conduct data audits, and assist with HR metrics and workforce reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Assist with HR projects, employee programs, and process improvements.
- Prepare invoices and maintain recruiting-related records and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience sourcing candidates and coordinating recruitment activities preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
