About BRINC:
At BRINC, we are building the technology that will define the future of emergency response. As a vertically integrated U.S. drone technology company, BRINC designs and manufactures unmanned aircraft systems, autonomous drone stations, command-and-control software, and advanced autonomy for public safety. Today, BRINC deploys Drone as First Responder (DFR) networks that dispatch drones directly to 911 calls, providing real-time aerial intelligence before ground units arrive and helping first responders make faster, safer decisions. BRINC serves more than 1,000 public safety customers across all 50 states, is the sole drone supplier to Motorola Solutions, and has raised more than $280 million from leading strategic and technology investors, including Motorola Solutions, Index Ventures, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, and others. BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.
About this Role:
BRINC is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to help shape how we support, develop, and scale our people as the company grows. You’ll partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor on everything from performance management and employee relations to organizational design, compensation, talent planning, and team effectiveness. This is not a traditional HRBP role where established processes and playbooks are already in place, you’ll help build them. We’re looking for someone who can balance strong judgment and sound people practices with the speed, pragmatism, and flexibility of a high-growth startup. You should be equally comfortable advising a senior leader through a complex people decision, coaching a manager through a difficult conversation, and rolling up your sleeves to create the process, framework, or solution the business needs. Above all, you’ll help us scale BRINC thoughtfully without losing the ownership, urgency, and mission-driven culture that makes us who we are.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with employees, managers, and senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness and other core people matters.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, team effectiveness, leadership development and people-related business decisions.
Coach and develop leaders at all levels, from frontline managers to senior executives, strengthening leadership capabilities and building high-performing teams across the U.S. and Canada.
Provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented guidance on employee relations matters, balancing employee experience, company values and business needs and applicable employment laws and regulations.
Lead and advise on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance concerns, development plans, promotions and other talent decisions.
Own and evolve the company’s compensation philosophy and career architecture, including job levels, career paths, pay ranges, promotion frameworks, and practices that support internal equity, market competitiveness, and employee growth.
Partner with leaders on organizational change and strategic people initiatives, translating business needs into practical HR programs and recommendations and supporting effective implementation.
Analyze workforce and employee data to identify trends, risks and opportunities related to retention, engagement, performance, organizational health and talent development.
Balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, growing organization, proactively identifying opportunities to improve people practices and business outcomes.
Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, compensation, performance and organizational matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
6+ years of progressive professional human resources experience
Employment Law Knowledge
Extensive Experience with an HRIS (Sequoia preferred)
Preferred Skills:
Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment supporting an exempt and hourly workforce
Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on
Experience independently handling employee relations issues
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
SHRM-SCP or SPHR a plus.
BRINC Culture Values:
Try the hard stuff
Be innovative - Invent the future
Move fast
Listen to end-users
Strive for excellence
Don’t build a dystopia
Be frugal
Save lives through technology

Who's Hiring

People Operations Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a people operations manager job in Seattle?
The strongest path into people operations manager roles in Seattle runs through the city's tech sector, where companies in South Lake Union and the Eastside hire people ops talent at a higher rate than most other markets. Candidates with experience in HRIS implementation, workforce planning, or DEI program management stand out. Targeting mid-size tech companies and healthcare systems before moving to larger enterprises is a practical entry strategy.
Which companies hire people operations managers in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring people operations managers in Seattle include Pacific Aviation, Brinc, and Dowbuilt, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Seattle's mix of global tech headquarters, regional healthcare networks, and fast-growing mid-market firms creates consistent demand for people ops professionals at all levels.
Are there remote people operations manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though with limits: people operations manager work that involves employee relations, onboarding, and in-person culture programs tends to stay on-site, while compensation analysis, HR systems administration, and policy work is more remote-compatible. About 63% of people operations manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Tech companies in the South Lake Union corridor are the most likely to offer flexible arrangements for this role.
How can I get a people operations manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is starting as an HR coordinator or people operations associate at a mid-size tech or biotech company, where generalist exposure is broad and promotions happen faster than at large enterprises. Seattle's startup ecosystem, particularly in the Eastside and South Lake Union, regularly hires candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in HRIS platforms like Workday or Rippling, even without a long title history. Building experience in recruiting coordination or benefits administration provides a strong lateral foundation.
