About The Strength Warehouse
The Strength Warehouse is a private personal training facility in North Austin built around helping people feel their best through strength, movement, and a holistic approach to fitness. We provide a welcoming, professional environment where trainers can build their businesses, serve their clients, and coach according to their own philosophy.
We’re looking for motivated, independent personal trainers who have their own client base and want a dedicated training space without the restrictions of a traditional commercial gym.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for independent personal trainers to rent space at The Strength Warehouse, bring their own clients, and operate their businesses with the freedom and flexibility they value.
Whether you specialize in strength and conditioning, general fitness, athletic performance, weight loss, or functional training, we want to provide an environment where you can do what you do best: help your clients achieve their goals.
What We Offer
- Private training facility: A professional, fully equipped gym environment for your personal training business.
- Autonomy in coaching: Use your own training philosophy, programming methods, and coaching style.
- Bring your own clients: Maintain ownership of your client relationships and grow your own book of business.
- Flexible scheduling: Coordinate your training schedule around your clients and business needs, subject to facility availability.
- Professional environment: Train in a clean, welcoming space designed for focused, high-quality coaching.
- Business independence: Operate under your own brand and manage your own clients, services, and pricing.
- Community and collaboration: Connect with other like-minded fitness professionals who value quality coaching and client experience.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal trainer is entrepreneurial, professional, and passionate about helping people improve their health and performance.
Qualifications:
- Current personal training or strength and conditioning certification from a recognized organization.
- An existing client base or the ability to independently attract and retain clients.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong communication, organization, and client service skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, respectful, and professional training environment.
Experience in personal training, strength and conditioning, athletic performance, or other specialized fitness services is preferred.
Rental Arrangement
This is an independent trainer space-rental opportunity, not a salaried or hourly employment position. Trainers rent facility access and operate their own independent businesses.
Trainers are responsible for bringing their own clients, setting their own service rates, managing their client relationships, and maintaining their required professional credentials and insurance.
Rental terms, access arrangements, and availability will be discussed during the introductory conversation.

Personal Trainer Jobs in Austin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a personal trainer job in Austin?
Austin's fitness market rewards specialization: strength and conditioning, group fitness, and wellness coaching are in highest demand. Boutique studios along South Congress and in the Domain hire frequently, as do hotel fitness centers near Downtown and corporate wellness programs in tech campuses north of the city. Holding a nationally recognized certification and any yoga, cycling, or nutrition add-on credential gives you a clear edge over candidates without them.
Which companies hire personal trainers in Austin?
Employers hiring personal trainers in Austin right now include Gold's Gym, Life Time, and Equinox, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Austin's hiring mix skews toward boutique studios, upscale residential communities, and corporate wellness vendors tied to the city's large technology employer base.
Are there remote personal trainer jobs in Austin?
Yes, though remote work is limited for a role that is largely hands-on and floor-based. About 0% of personal trainer openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, mostly in online coaching, program design, and corporate wellness coordination roles. In-person training at studios, gyms, and residential facilities in Austin makes up the majority of available positions.
How can I get a personal trainer job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is a front-desk or fitness associate role at a boutique studio or full-service gym, which frequently leads to floor shifts and paid mentorship toward a full training slot. Apartment complex fitness centers across South Congress and East Austin regularly hire entry-level trainers willing to work early morning or evening blocks. Earning a CPR certification alongside any nationally recognized personal training credential before applying noticeably improves callback rates at Austin employers.
Which industries hire the most personal trainers in Austin?
Austin personal trainer roles concentrate in Sports & Recreation, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Austin's rapid residential growth and its large technology sector workforce drive consistent demand across both commercial fitness facilities and employer-sponsored wellness programs throughout the metro.
