Job Description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital located in Ahoskie, NC are seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department.

- 15-bed Emergency Department
- Emergency Medicine Provider team includes 4 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
- 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
- Telestroke support
- (Twelve) 12-hour shifts per month; daily shifts are 9:00am-9:00pm and 12pm-12am
- Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients
- Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Neurology, Cardiology, and Pain Management
- System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
- BLS and ACLS certifications required

ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the hospital’s 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 21,000 patients per year. This modern facility provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan’s Wound Healing and Pain Management centers serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
