Work You'll Do
As a Project Lead Integration Engineer II, you will provide critical logistics, sustainment, and distribution network planning support to key operations. The role ensures the optimized flow of forces and equipment across the Area of Responsibility (AOR) while synchronizing with sub-unified commands, Service components, and multinational partners. The role is highly dynamic and adaptive to command and directorate priorities; an experienced planner that can operate independently with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Feasibility & Analysis - Conduct rigorous transportation and logistics feasibility analyses to validate OPLANs/CONPLANs, ensuring mission requirements align with available physical distribution networks, multimodal and intermodal transport, and theater lift capabilities.
- Exercise Integration - Support the logistics and distribution planning for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Exercises, conducted at the Joint or Service Component HQ level, ensuring sustainment flows are accurately modeled, stressed, and assessed during major joint and combined training events.
- Allies & Partner Integration - Develop and incorporate logistics concepts that leverage Allies and Partner capabilities, including Host Nation Support (HNS), Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreements (ACSA), Access, Basing and Overflight (ABO), Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDC), Regional Sustainment Framework (RSF) and other multinational logistics hubs and services.
- Command & Component Sync - Synchronize sustainment operations and movement requirements directly with USFK, USFJ, JTF-M, JTF-PHL, SOCPAC, and regional Service Component Commands.
- JLEnt Coordination - Serve as a subject matter expert for coordinating strategic sustainment strategies, operational initiatives among USTRANSCOM, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and other key partners.
- Doctrine & Planning Proficiency - The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of and the ability to apply the following Joint Publications (JPs), and other associated policies, directives, instructions, publications that support theater distribution and sustainment planning:
- JP 5-0, Joint Planning: Expertise in the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and its application to logistics supportability.
- JP 3-0, Joint Operations: Foundational knowledge of how logistics integrates with and enables joint operations.
- JP 4-0, Joint Logistics: Mastery of the core principles of seven joint logistics functions and the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt).
- JP 4-01 / JP 4-09: Specific expertise in the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) and Distribution Operations.
- JP 3-35, Deployment and Redeployment Operations: Understanding of the movements and logistics required for force projection.
- CJCSMs, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff standardization for products, policies, and planning

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree or 6+ years of related experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required
- 5+ years of experience operating within a GCC logistics environment or at a sub-unified/Service Component level (e.g., J4/G4/A4/N4)
- 5+ years of experience in theater-level logistics and experience integrating sustainment requirements into the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), Blue Force Planning, and Exercise Control Group
- 5+ years of experience with Joint Planning Execution System (JPES)
- 5+ years of experience drafting formal staff products (EXSUMs, Information Papers, Talking Points, etc.) and delivering executive-level briefings to General/Flag Officers
- Ability to travel on occasion to attend planning or exercise events, no more than four times per year, to CONUS, NCR or Asia location (i.e. Japan, Korea).
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
