Location: Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
Lead the development, maintenance, and periodic review of comprehensive planning documents and supporting plans. Ensure planning materials provide a clear framework for development and comply with applicable organizational and regulatory requirements.- Review proposed projects and siting requests for consistency with approved development plans, policies, and planning criteria. Document findings and coordinate required follow-up actions with authorized personnel.
- Analyze mission, environmental, land-use, infrastructure, and other relevant planning factors at an appropriate level of detail. Use this analysis to identify constraints and opportunities and support planning recommendations.
- Coordinate planning matters with authorized internal and external stakeholders while sharing information only on a need-to-know basis and through approved channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent field from an institution accredited in the United States.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
- At least 5 years of civil engineering experience.
Clearance:
- Satisfactory outcome of a background investigation for Tier 1 access is required.
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
