Entry Level Pricing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level pricing manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate comfort with data analysis, spreadsheet tools like Excel, and basic pricing concepts such as margin, cost-plus, or competitive benchmarking. A relevant internship, a finance or business degree, or coursework in economics and analytics gives you a real edge. Tailoring your resume to highlight quantitative projects, even from school, helps you stand out against other junior applicants.
Which companies hire entry level pricing managers?

Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including large corporations with structured rotational programs and mid-size companies looking for analytical candidates they can develop into the pricing function.
Are there remote entry level pricing manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up a significant share of openings at this level. About 28% of entry level pricing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates outside major metros can still find relevant opportunities. Filtering by work setting when you search helps you focus on roles that match your location preference.
Are these new grad pricing manager jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad friendly, including roles labeled junior pricing analyst, pricing coordinator, or associate pricing manager. A new grad posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and treats internships, academic projects, or a relevant portfolio as qualifying. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'recent graduates welcome,' or '0 to 2 years' in the job description to confirm a posting suits someone early in their career.
Which industries hire the most entry level pricing managers?
Entry Level pricing manager roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
