Entry Level ERP Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level erp specialist job?
Employers hiring entry level erp specialists look for hands-on experience with at least one major ERP platform, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, gained through coursework, internships, or self-directed projects. A completed implementation project, even a small academic or volunteer one, signals readiness. Certifications from ERP vendors strengthen a junior candidate's profile significantly, and tailoring your resume to the specific system each employer uses gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire entry level erp specialists?
Companies hiring entry level erp specialists right now include Wood, Jobot, and Evapco, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Mid-size manufacturers, consulting firms, and large enterprises across multiple sectors actively recruit at this level as they implement or upgrade ERP systems and need junior staff to support configuration, testing, and end-user training.
Are there remote entry level erp specialist jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up a meaningful share of openings at this level. About 20% of entry level erp specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, giving candidates flexibility to apply outside their immediate area. Remote roles often focus on support, configuration, or data migration tasks that translate well to distributed teams.
Are these new grad erp specialist jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates with zero to two years of experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically accepts internship hours, academic projects, or vendor certifications in place of full professional experience. If the job description asks for a degree in information systems, business, or a related field and does not require prior employment, it is almost certainly open to recent graduates.
Which industries hire the most entry level erp specialists?
Entry Level erp specialist roles concentrate in Energy, Retail, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive demand at the junior level because they rely heavily on integrated business systems for supply chain, finance, and operations management, and they need entry level staff to support rollouts, data entry standardization, and ongoing system maintenance.
