JOB DETAILS

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages in an outpatient community health setting. This physician will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and patient education
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan
- Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Coordinate referrals and specialty care services as needed
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinical team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outcome programs
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Participate in after-hours call coverage as required
- Precept medical students, residents, and advanced practice students as appropriate
- Support organizational initiatives focused on improving community health outcomes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active Missouri Medical License or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration and ability to obtain Missouri controlled substance registration
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for serving diverse and underserved patient populations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience in a Community Health Center or FQHC setting
- Experience caring for medically underserved populations
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Interest in teaching, mentoring, and community outreach activities
