Overall Purpose: Supervise the design, development, and operation of technology solutions to support the Marketing and Product Organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient execution of initiatives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supervise Cross-Functional Teams: Oversee the definition of strategy, technical roadmap, and business cases for the rapid delivery of new applications and enhancements, including products, pricing, offers, and promotions.
- Champion Customer Advocacy and Expertise: Ensure the team serves as the voice of the customer, providing subject matter expertise on marketing technology platforms, CX solutions, billing systems, and other technical applications.
- Lead Technical Project Execution: Supervise the execution of technical projects using Agile methodology, including planning, execution, use of standard Agile tools, Epic creation, and User Story development.
- Oversee Development and Testing: Manage the definition of requirements, code writing, documentation, user story creation, test case execution, application debugging, and user interactions for system requirements and modifications.
- Provide Training and Support Oversight: Ensure the provision of training and support to marketing and sales teams, manage system settings, plan and execute testing, and prepare channel readiness documentation.
Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Supervisor: Yes
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.
