Content Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a content manager in Georgia?
Content manager roles in Georgia do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, or journalism, combined with a portfolio showing editorial or content strategy work. Atlanta's large base of media companies, technology firms, and healthcare systems provides strong entry points. Candidates who add credentials like HubSpot Content Marketing or Google Analytics certifications consistently stand out in Georgia job listings.
Which companies hire content managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring content managers in Georgia right now include Knapp, Fiserv, and EPAM Systems, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of media conglomerates, Fortune 500 headquarters, and major health systems in Atlanta means content roles appear across a broad range of industries year-round.
Which Georgia cities have the most content manager jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Kennesaw have the most content manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it is home to major corporate headquarters, large healthcare systems, and a mature technology sector, while Savannah and Augusta draw consistent openings from regional healthcare networks, hospitality brands, and government-adjacent organizations that need dedicated content teams.
Are there remote content manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Content management is fundamentally a desk-based, digital role, so remote and hybrid arrangements are common. About 100% of content manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the role's strong fit for distributed work. Content strategy and SEO-focused positions tend to be the most consistently remote, while roles tied to brand or production teams more often require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a content manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a content coordinator or junior copywriter role at one of Georgia's large media companies, healthcare systems, or technology firms in Atlanta. Cox Enterprises and Wellstar Health System, for example, hire into content associate and communications specialist positions that don't require years of experience. Building a portfolio through freelance work, campus publications, or a nonprofit communication internship gives candidates the concrete samples Georgia employers expect when reviewing entry-level applications.
Where can I find and apply to content manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to content manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
