Product Operations Manager Jobs in Louisiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product operations manager in Louisiana?
Most product operations manager roles in Louisiana require a bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, though some employers accept equivalent work experience. Louisiana does not require a state-issued license for this role. Hiring managers in the state typically look for candidates who have worked within energy, healthcare, or logistics operations, reflecting the dominant industries here. Building experience in project coordination, process documentation, or product analytics is the most practical path into the role.
Which companies hire product operations managers in Louisiana?
Employers hiring product operations managers in Louisiana right now include Entergy, Speechify, and The Home Depot, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Louisiana's energy services and regional healthcare sectors are consistent sources of openings, particularly for candidates with experience in complex, regulated operating environments.
Which Louisiana cities have the most product operations manager jobs?
New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Minden have the most product operations manager openings in Louisiana. New Orleans drives volume through its concentration of healthcare networks and corporate headquarters, Baton Rouge adds openings through its industrial and government contractor base, and Shreveport contributes through regional logistics and manufacturing operations that maintain dedicated product and operations functions.
Are there remote product operations manager jobs in Louisiana?
Yes, and they are reasonably common given the desk-based, analytical nature of most product operations work. About 42% of product operations manager openings tied to Louisiana are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader adoption in tech-adjacent and SaaS-adjacent roles. Process documentation, data reporting, and cross-functional coordination responsibilities are the portions of the role most frequently performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a product operations manager in Louisiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a coordinator, analyst, or associate program manager role within a Louisiana employer that already knows your work. Large Louisiana health systems such as Ochsner Health and LCMC Health, along with energy firms like Entergy, hire operations analysts and project coordinators who transition into product operations over time. Building a portfolio of process maps, sprint documentation, or cross-functional project outcomes, and earning a CAPM or similar entry-level project management credential, strengthens a candidate's case considerably.
Where can I find and apply to product operations manager jobs in Louisiana?
