We are looking for a passionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Baking Assistant / Pastry Production Associate who is excited about the art of baking and wants to grow with our brand.

The Baking Assistant will play an important role in supporting our daily bakery production, including preparing, baking, finishing, and packaging our signature products.

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys baking, has a strong work ethic, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a professional bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily preparation and production of gourmet cookies, chiffon cakes, pastries, and other specialty baked goods.
• Accurately measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients according to established recipes.
• Prepare cookie doughs, cake batters, fillings, and other bakery components.
• Portion, shape, bake, decorate, and finish products while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and overall product appearance.
• Assist with packaging and presentation for retail, corporate gifting, catering, and wholesale orders.
• Support high-volume production and special event orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and proper ingredient-handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, ingredient preparation, labeling, and storage.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous baking, pastry, commercial kitchen, or food production experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of baking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent product quality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Willingness to learn new techniques, accept feedback, and continuously improve.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen ingredients and supplies.
• Flexible availability, including some mornings, weekends, and peak production periods.
