Quality Supervisor Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a quality supervisor in Texas?
Most quality supervisors in Texas start with a bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, then build several years of hands-on quality assurance or manufacturing experience. Texas does not require a state-issued license for the role, but employers strongly favor candidates who hold or are pursuing an American Society for Quality credential such as Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Manager. Industries like aerospace, medical devices, and oil and gas in Texas also value Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Which companies hire quality supervisors in Texas?
Employers hiring quality supervisors in Texas right now include Tesla, Schneider Electric, and DHL, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Texas's dense concentration of aerospace, energy, and advanced manufacturing operations means hiring is consistent year-round rather than seasonal.
Which Texas cities have the most quality supervisor jobs?
Austin, Arlington, and Dallas are the Texas cities with the most quality supervisor openings. Houston's energy and petrochemical industry drives the largest volume, Dallas-Fort Worth's aerospace and electronics manufacturers sustain broad demand, and San Antonio's growing advanced manufacturing and military logistics base fuels a steady stream of openings across the metro.
Are there remote quality supervisor jobs in Texas?
Yes, but they're rare. Quality supervisor work is fundamentally hands-on, requiring floor presence, physical inspections, and direct oversight of production teams, which limits remote feasibility. About 0% of quality supervisor openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those tend to cover supplier quality auditing or documentation and compliance functions that can be handled off-site.
How can I get hired as a quality supervisor in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a quality technician or quality inspector role first, then building toward supervision. Large Texas manufacturers like aerospace contractors in the Fort Worth area and medical device companies in the Austin-San Antonio corridor regularly hire entry-level inspectors and quality associates who can advance internally. Earning an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector credential before applying gives candidates a clear edge. Lateral moves from production lead, process technician, or lab technician roles are common stepping stones recognized by Texas hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to quality supervisor jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to quality supervisor jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and healthcare sectors. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
