- Help lead drainage design for FDOT roadway and transportation projects in Florida
- Develop drainage concepts and perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems.
- Prepare drainage calculations, reports, design plans, and technical specifications in accordance with FDOT Drainage Manual and applicable criteria.
- Design storm sewer systems, pond systems, exfiltration systems, and roadway drainage infrastructure
- Review project design
- Perform design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
- Assist with project management and scheduling
- Prepare reports
- Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects
- Coordinate work with other disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, structures, etc
- Handle routine contract administration
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- P.E. license
- Natural leader willing to champion a team of engineers and technicians
- 7+ years Drainage and /or H&H Engineering work-related experience
