- Work on various Stormwater and Water Resource related projects including but not limited to Reuse, Streambank, Culvert Design, Flood Reduction, Water Quality, and other.
- Performing specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications on Water Resources projects.
- Perform tasks or observe projects in the field as required.
- Be involved in public meetings and have other presentation opportunities.
- Oversee the work of Engineering Technicians and graduate engineers.
As you advance in your career:
- You may plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets.
- You may lead multiple work teams, manage multiple complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, formulate, track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients.
Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted, the complexity of tasks performed, and direct supervision received.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school and 4-12 years of experience in Water Resources or related field.
- Our preferred candidate will have their Minnesota PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Must possess a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record and have the ability to work in a variety of locations.
