Job Summary:
Manages project controls disciplines on multiple projects or large single projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, cost control, and change management. Implements DPR’s project controls methodologies and advises project teams on cost and schedule performance. Supports project executives and project managers with timely and accurate data to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees setup and implementation of project controls processes, tools, and reports on assigned projects by developing a Project Controls Plan.
Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts, schedules, progress measurement, cost databases, benchmarking tools, and risk analyses.
Monitors performance metrics and variance analyses, providing insight to project and client stakeholders.
Leads development and presentation of Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) and performance reviews.
Coordinates data aggregation and reporting across multiple systems to provide consolidated project views.
Manages project Controls Specialists and project team members on DPR standards and best practices.
Partners with scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance to ensure cost, invoicing and schedule alignment throughout project execution, and collaborates with project executives and owners to support consistent performance reporting and risk assessment on assigned projects.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
8–10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, or scheduling in the construction industry required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or equivalent preferred.
Anticipated starting pay range:
