Freelance Content Writer & Marketing Specialist (On-Site / Flexible Schedule)Role Type: Freelance / Contract (Rolling, Ongoing Basis)

Location: On-site at our small graphic design office in Glen Ellyn, IL
Schedule: Flexible. You choose your core days and times (e.g., MWF 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM). We accommodate schedule updates as long as they are coordinated ahead of time.

We are a long-standing, local graphic design business serving a diverse portfolio of clients. Our projects move continuously/simultaneously and we believe the best creative work happens when copy and visual design are developed collaboratively. We are looking for a reliable, multi-talented freelance Copywriter who can join us on-site to handle rolling client projects on an ongoing basis.
The Opportunity
Because our client pipeline is continuous, we need a steady creative partner who can work directly out of our office to accept incoming briefs, collaborate face-to-face with our team/clients and see projects through to completion. This role offers flexible schedule autonomy—you pick the shifts that work for your current life/circumstances. It can be adjusted if needed. We just expect fair advanced notice to coordinate client needs.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborative Copywriting: Write clear, compelling copy for a wide range of client deliverables, including websites, brand messaging, e-newsletters, social media, print collateral, ad campaigns etc..
- Marketing Strategy Support: Bring your marketing toolkit to the table. You will assist with content strategy, SEO keyword research, edit ongoing campaigns for new search words and updates including structured campaign ideas.
- Teamwork: Work with programmers/graphic designers/management to brainstorm concepts
- Project Ownership: Manage job deadlines on an ongoing, rolling basis as new client work is presented.

- The "Writer + Marketer" Hybrid: You don't just write pretty sentences; you understand target audiences, brand positioning, and digital marketing principles.
- Agency Agility: Comfort working in a multi-tasked environment where project priorities evolve and office setting is small and casual .
