The Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) Manager supports the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Brennan’s Nuclear Quality Assurance Program at both the corporate office and nuclear safety-related project locations. This role partners closely with project teams to ensure work meets applicable regulatory requirements, client expectations, Brennan procedures, and industry standards. The NQA Manager will provide hands-on support across training and indoctrination, quality records, equipment and calibration controls, commercial grade dedication, and final project documentation. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Brennan Nuclear Quality Assurance Program and act as a primary resource for quality assurance activities associated with nuclear safety-related projects.
• Coordinate and conduct project indoctrination, onboarding, and quality-related training for personnel assigned to nuclear projects.
• Maintain training records, qualification records, certifications, and associated documentation in accordance with NQA program requirements.
• Organize, maintain, and control quality assurance records, turnover packages, and project documentation to ensure traceability, accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare and compile final quality assurance reports, project closeout documentation, and deliverables for clients and regulatory review.
• Manage nuclear project tools, equipment, consumables, and inventory including tracking, inspection, storage, maintenance, and accountability.
• Coordinate calibration activities for measurement and test equipment and maintain associated calibration records.
• Support transportation, mobilization, and tracking of project equipment and materials to and from project sites.
• Assist with Commercial Grade Survey (CGS) and Dedication (CGD) activities including documentation review, material traceability, inspections, supplier evaluations, and verification activities.
• Participate in internal audits, analyze corporate processes, and communicate results through verbal and written reports to management to highlight areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
• Initiate, support, and manage corrective ensuring timely resolution and evidence of effectiveness.
• Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify root cause findings using established quality methodologies.
• Assist with quality plans, procedure development, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive and implement tools, processes, and corresponding documentation designed to expand and improve the utility and application of the NQA program.
• Act as a quality resource to all levels of the organization for NQA-related processes and requirements.
• Ensure organizational expectations, standards, and safety regulations are observed and documented/escalated as appropriate.
• Attend client meetings, audits, industry conferences, and project planning meetings representing Brennan quality expectations and nuclear compliance standards.
• Support field project execution through onsite quality oversight, verification activities, and coordination with project management and craft personnel.
• Maintain compliance with applicable NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, client-specific, and internal quality program requirements.
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time to assigned project sites.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of experience in nuclear quality assurance, industrial quality assurance, document control, field coordination, or related technical support role.
• Experience supporting nuclear, industrial, construction, or regulated industry projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with NQA-1 requirements and nuclear industry quality standards preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear site clearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices
• Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter, highly organized, and creative
• Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length, deliver on deadlines
