How do you become a regional account executive in Arkansas?
Most regional account executive roles in Arkansas require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a closely related field, combined with prior B2B or outside sales experience. The role carries no state-issued license in Arkansas, so hiring decisions center on sales performance history and industry knowledge. Candidates targeting healthcare or financial services sectors may strengthen their candidacy with industry-specific certifications such as those offered through relevant professional associations in those fields.
How much do regional account executives make in Arkansas?
Regional account executives in Arkansas earn a median of about $55,120 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $29,630 for the lowest 10% to over $132,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional account executives in Arkansas?

Arkansas's concentration of retail headquarters, logistics providers, and regional healthcare networks creates steady demand for experienced account executives who can manage complex B2B relationships across the state.
Which Arkansas cities have the most regional account executive jobs?
Little Rock, Bentonville, and Arkansas have the most regional account executive openings in Arkansas. Little Rock's role as the state capital and commercial hub drives demand across healthcare, banking, and technology sectors, while Fayetteville and Bentonville benefit from the Walmart supplier ecosystem and the concentration of retail, logistics, and consumer goods companies that maintain regional offices in northwest Arkansas.
Are there remote regional account executive jobs in Arkansas?
Yes, and more than most fields, given that account executive work is relationship- and phone-based rather than tied to a fixed worksite. About 73% of regional account executive openings tied to Arkansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles most common in software, SaaS, and financial services. Roles tied to in-person client visits or territory coverage in manufacturing and distribution tend to require local presence.
How can I get hired as a regional account executive in Arkansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales development representative role at one of Arkansas's larger employers, such as companies within the Bentonville retail-supplier corridor or Little Rock-based healthcare technology firms, where structured sales training programs exist for candidates without a direct account management background. Adjacent roles in customer success, account coordination, or territory support provide the pipeline management exposure hiring managers look for. Earning a recognized sales certification and building a documented portfolio of prospect outreach outcomes can meaningfully strengthen an application at the entry level.
