We are currently seeking a Regional Business Office Manager.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide oversight and support to facility business office operations across multiple locations
- Monitor and guide billing, collections, cash posting, and accounts receivable processes
- Support the management of resident trust funds and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Review daily banking activity, deposits, and cash reconciliation processes for assigned facilities
- Ensure proper adherence to Social Security, State, Medicaid, Medicare, and other payer regulations
- Assist facilities with Medicaid pending, denials, aging, collections, and reimbursement issues
- Oversee Social Security Representative Payee processes where applicable
- Partner with facility leadership and corporate teams to improve revenue cycle outcomes
- Conduct audits, reviews, and follow-up related to billing practices, trust accounts, and financial processes
- Train, mentor, and support Business Office Managers and other facility-level business office staff
- Assist with month-end processes, financial reporting, and operational standardization across buildings
- Travel to assigned facilities as needed to provide on-site support and leadership
Requirements:
Experience and/or knowledge of:
- Medicare & Medicaid reimbursement
- Long-term care billing and collections
- Consolidation of billing processes
- Management of resident trust accounts
- Daily cash/check deposits and reconciliation
- Accounts receivable follow-up and aging management
- Daily staffing and financial reporting
- Purchase order processes and facility business office operations
Additional qualifications:
- Previous work in a long-term care facility required
- Minimum of two years of related business office leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to travel, and work occasional weekend and evening hours as needed
