Service Metal is looking for a driven and experienced leader to join our team as Regional Sales Manager. This role plays a critical part of our growing sales team, responsible for supervising Territorial Account Managers (TAMs), driving revenue growth from the Mississippi to West Coast regions, and forging strong customer and partner relationships. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships, and working closely with operations to drive results.
This is a full-time position based out of our St. Louis headquarters with 25-40% travel across assigned regions.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate Territorial Account Managers, coaching them to meet sales targets and professional growth goals
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives
- Analyze sales performance metrics and market trends in partnership with the Sales Optimization Strategist, providing actionable insights for leadership
- Collaborate with Operations, Warehouses, and Sales Representatives to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distribution partners, and industry contacts
- Support recruiting and onboarding of new Territorial Account Managers
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and promotional initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of business-to-business sales experience
- At least 3 years of managerial experience leading sales teams
- Knowledge of distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills with proven ability to drive results
- Comfortable working with sales data, KPIs, and market intelligence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
