What you will be doing
The Division Marketing team oversees the relationship with the various Divisions and is looking for a Marketing Manager with Digital experience to help manage national and local strategies with a focus in multi-channel digital marketing executions.
The Regional Marketing Manager will serve as the primary point of contact to the Division Marketing team and leverage his/her program management & execution skills, digital advertising experience, and relationship management skills to help manage new and existing digital marketing programs. Work cross-functionally with Divisions, Business Units, Marketing Strategy, Analytics, Performance Marketing, CRM, Content/Creative, UX, Marketing Technology and other teams at Albertsons companies and function as the single point of contact for all communications on behalf of the Divisions.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA.
Main responsibilities:
- Partner with the Divisions to support key growth targets and serve as the Marketing team liaison
- Lead weekly Division meetings and quarterly business reviews with Division teams
- Provide weekly reporting to divisions with insights to support performance
- Assist Divisions and National teams for program recaps
- Work cross-functionally with key internal teams to drive Division and National goals (Analytics, Performance Marketing, CRM, Content, etc.)
- Understands the National and Division initiatives and can make recommendations for execution
- Build hyper-localized division messaging into evergreen digital marketing campaigns
- Build digital marketing playbooks for key evergreen division priorities
- Partner with and leverage internal teams to help drive agenda and implementation
- Present confidently to senior management as well as other large audiences
- Establishing clear timelines and benchmarks for all Division digital marketing projects
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all division digital marketing projects including defining clarity of requirements and deliverables. Own program operations, including workflow and documentation, communication, and coordination with all teams involved. Ensure key deliverables are tracked for an on-time project delivery.
- Track and report on performance, ensuring each program is delivering differentiated value against its intended objective.
- Use a range of site analytics and measurement tools to understand and analyze customer segment and marketing channel performance and ensure marketing efficiency is continuously optimized with a strong focus on revenue and customer acquisition.
- Tours stores and monitors competitor marketing activities
- Share out Division & National best practices
- Institute rigorous test-and-learn methodology to achieve desired results
- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit
- Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.
- Review creative, copy, and promotions as needed Drive innovation in marketing efficiency and process improvement.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years managing digital and traditional marketing programs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple active projects and priorities
- Understanding of paid advertising, customer targeting, store and ecommerce operations
- Strong experience with gathering and analyzing data from a marketing standpoint and implementing new ideas.
- Exceptional Communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skills & persistence in the realms of innovation and process improvement
- Strong initiative, customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation and consensus building
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
