Entry Level Registered Radiologic Technologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level registered radiologic technologist job?
Employers hiring at the entry level typically look for an accredited radiologic technology program, an ARRT certification or eligibility, and completed clinical hours. Candidates who stand out usually bring documented hands-on experience from clinical rotations, strong references from supervising technologists, and familiarity with standard imaging equipment. Tailoring your resume to highlight patient-positioning skills and radiation safety protocols gives you a clear edge over less-prepared applicants.
Which companies hire entry level registered radiologic technologists?
Companies hiring entry level registered radiologic technologists right now include TridentCare, Advocate Aurora Health, and Trinity Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers hospital systems, outpatient imaging centers, urgent care networks, and staffing agencies that place new graduates in their first clinical roles.
Are there remote entry level registered radiologic technologist jobs?
Yes, though most imaging work requires an on-site presence, a portion of openings do include remote or hybrid components such as teleradiology support and administrative functions. About 0% of entry level registered radiologic technologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site roles will find the widest selection of opportunities at this stage.
Are these new grad registered radiologic technologist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior registered radiologic technologist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts clinical rotation hours toward the requirement, or explicitly accepts candidates who are ARRT-eligible rather than fully certified. If a listing mentions mentorship, training programs, or residency tracks, it is designed for someone entering the field for the first time.
Which industries hire the most entry level registered radiologic technologists?
Entry Level registered radiologic technologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Medical Devices, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they operate high-volume imaging departments, rotate new graduates through multiple modalities, and maintain steady patient demand that requires continuous technologist staffing.
