Entry Level Regulatory Affairs Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level regulatory affairs lead job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates with coursework in regulatory science, biology, chemistry, or a related field, along with any hands-on exposure through internships, co-ops, or lab roles. Familiarity with FDA regulations, quality systems like ISO standards, or document control processes gives candidates a concrete edge. Tailoring your resume to highlight compliance projects or submission work, even from academic settings, strengthens your application significantly.
Which companies hire entry level regulatory affairs leads?
Companies hiring entry level regulatory affairs leads right now include Oscar Health, Abbott, and Collabera, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of large pharmaceutical and medical device companies, contract research organizations, and growing biotech firms that build regulatory teams with junior talent.
Are there remote entry level regulatory affairs lead jobs?
Yes, though the majority of entry level postings still favor on-site or hybrid arrangements. About 21% of entry level regulatory affairs lead openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting growing flexibility in how companies structure compliance and submissions work. Fully remote roles at this level tend to appear most often at larger organizations with established remote workflows.
Are these new grad regulatory affairs lead jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad posting typically states that internship experience, a relevant degree, or a portfolio of academic regulatory projects meets the requirement. Look for listings that mention zero to two years of experience or that list a bachelor's degree as the primary qualification.
Which industries hire the most entry level regulatory affairs leads?
Entry Level regulatory affairs lead roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their products, whether drugs, devices, or consumer goods, require ongoing regulatory submissions, labeling review, and compliance documentation that junior professionals can support from day one.
