Job Highlights
- Prepare, execute and coordinate Registration Projects in Canada and U.S. for biocidal products (EPA) - Environmental Protection Agency, (FIFRA) - Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act and Health Canada (PMRA) - Pesticide Management Regulatory Agency for the Material Protection Products (MPP) Business Unit.
- Communicate and collaborate with business teams, customers and authorities regarding regulatory topics.
- Interpret, evaluate and effectively communicate technical material and government regulations policies to LANXESS employees and customers.
- Coordinate with external laboratories to place studies and ensure services delivered for data required for regulatory purposes.
Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a closely related field; Master's Degree is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years experience in the regulatory field with technical knowledge of the current FIFRA and PMRA regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines for Registration of biocides by the U.S. EPA, state agencies and PMRA.
- Ability to work independently with good communication and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of FDA and Canadian FDA specific to indirect food contact clearances for biocides is preferred.
- This is a HYBRID role with the expectation to be on-site in the Pittsburgh office at least three days per week.
