ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
The crushing weight of debt is something that we believe holds people back from reaching their dreams and making a splash in the world. So in 2013, after seeing our friends and family struggle with student loans, we created Splash Financial.
Over the years, our mission has expanded to include helping people with other forms of debt - such as refinancing credit cards, which are at all time highs in the US. And we’ve been able to refinance $6+ Billion in loans through our network of Splash, powered credit union and bank partners who leverage our marketplace and automated loan processing technology. And we’ve raised over $135 million from investors like partners of DST Global, Citi Ventures, TruStage Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners and more.
But at our core, we’re still that little company from Cleveland with a big dream: to make people more powerful than their debt and we’re just getting started.
ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE:
Splash is remote-first, and proud of it — though our collections team works in-person at our Arizona location.
We spend our days simplifying financial products and getting them into the hands of people who need them most. Right now, we’re focused on building financial technologies that fundamentally transform how the industry lends.
Although Splash has been around since 2013, we still operate like a startup — fast-paced, nimble, and full of heart. We’re good people who care deeply about doing meaningful work, and we approach challenges with creativity, passion, and urgency.
And to hire the best, we provide the best: great health insurance, competitive salaries, and unique benefits like quarterly meet-ups and access to engagement tools that keep us connected — even from afar.
At Splash, everything we do is guided by our values:
- Own It – We take full accountability and follow through on commitments.
- Raise the Bar – We move fast, innovate faster, and push through barriers.
- Say the Hard Thing – We speak up with honesty, respect, and a desire to solve problems and make things better.
- Elevate Each Other – We win as a team by lifting each other up.
These values show up in how we work and how we connect — whether we’re collaborating on big projects or bonding over everyday moments. Yes, we even have Slack channels for #kids-and-pets and #food, because we believe being human makes us better teammates.

Tips for Your Remote Chief Administrative Officer Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote chief administrative officer openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through mixed results from general job boards.
Prove async leadership in your materials
Remote employers expect a chief administrative officer to direct teams and resolve issues without daily in-person contact. Show specific examples in your resume and cover letter of decisions you made, communicated, and executed entirely through written or digital channels.
Build fluency in distributed operations tools
Remote chief administrative officers are expected to manage workflow, reporting, and cross-functional coordination through platforms like Notion, Slack, and project management software. Knowing these tools before your interview signals you won't need onboarding time to become productive in a remote environment.
Frame your portfolio around operational outcomes
Compile two or three concrete examples of administrative systems you built or improved, with measurable results. Remote hiring teams for this role want evidence you can design and sustain processes that hold up without physical presence, not just a list of responsibilities.
Prepare for remote-specific interview formats
Many distributed companies conduct multi-stage remote interviews that include a written exercise or asynchronous presentation. Practice articulating executive decisions clearly in writing and via video, since remote employers treat both as proxies for how you'll actually communicate on the job.
Remote Chief Administrative Officer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote chief administrative officer job?
Remote chief administrative officer roles go to candidates who can demonstrate executive-level self-direction and strong written communication from day one. Remote-first companies and distributed enterprises screen heavily for async decision-making, comfort with digital collaboration tools, and the ability to align cross-functional teams without in-person oversight. Candidates who show clear results from past leadership, not just titles, get the strongest callbacks.
Which companies hire remote chief administrative officers?
Remote chief administrative officer roles are posted by Zillow, Rocket Mortgage, and AmeriSave Mortgage and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote-first firms, distributed healthcare organizations, and scaling technology companies make up the largest share of employers posting these roles outside a traditional office.
Can you get a remote chief administrative officer job with no experience?
Yes, but remote chief administrative officer roles at the entry level are uncommon because independent judgment is expected from the start. Your best path is through remote operations coordinator or remote administrative manager roles at smaller distributed companies, where you can build a documented record of running processes without in-person supervision. Showing initiative and measurable outcomes matters more than years of tenure.
Do you need a degree for remote chief administrative officer jobs?
Not always, though many remote employers list a bachelor's degree as a baseline for chief administrative officer candidates. What remote hiring teams weigh heavily alongside formal education is a clear history of operational results, proficiency with the tools distributed teams rely on, and evidence that you've led administrative functions without daily in-person management. Demonstrated outcomes can offset the absence of an advanced degree.
Which industries hire the most remote chief administrative officers?
The sectors hiring the most remote chief administrative officers are Technology & Software, Construction & Real Estate, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors rely on distributed teams and complex operational structures that make a remote chief administrative officer a practical, ongoing need rather than an exception.
