Duties
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, integrating educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Deliver live online lectures and facilitate interactive discussions tailored to different learning styles and student needs.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, standardized testing preparation, and project evaluations, providing timely feedback and write reports after each class.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with varying abilities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and educational staff to develop cohesive curricula, share best practices, and ensure consistent educational quality.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, grades, and behavioral progress in compliance with educational regulations.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of computer science topics including algorithms, programming languages, data structures, and software development principles.
- Strong background in mathematics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, discrete math, and higher education teaching experience.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design tailored for online platforms; experience implementing IT-integrated lessons is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to teenagers from diverse backgrounds; experience working with students from different cultural settings is preferred.
