Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced, senior-level BlueCherry ERP professional to own functional support, business process guidance, and best-practice adoption for our BlueCherry ERP platform. The right person brings deep working knowledge of BlueCherry's functionality and its strategic application to a vertically integrated wholesale business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for BlueCherry ERP functionality, including order management, purchasing, inventory, warehouse management, EDI, and PLM.
- Partner with sales operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service to translate B2B / wholesale business needs into BlueCherry configurations, workflows, and reporting.
- Own and continuously improve business processes and best practices within BlueCherry that reflect a wholesale model — order-to-cash, EDI trading-partner onboarding, allocation, chargebacks, and account-level terms.
- Triage day-to-day support issues, resolve functional and process-level questions directly, and determine what requires escalation.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with CGS (BlueCherry's vendor): scope and escalate technical/engineering issues, track tickets, and coordinate upgrades, patches, and enhancement requests.
- Lead user training, documentation, and change management for BlueCherry across the organization.
- Evaluate new BlueCherry releases and features and recommend adoption based on business impact.
- Support integration points between BlueCherry and adjacent systems (EDI, WMS, finance, B2B ordering portals).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase system adoption, data quality, and process efficiency across the business.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting or administering BlueCherry ERP (or a comparable apparel/fashion-vertical ERP) in a functional/business capacity.
- Direct experience in a B2B / wholesale apparel or footwear business — order management, EDI, allocation, chargebacks — rather than pure retail or DTC.
- Strong understanding of apparel supply chain processes: order-to-cash, purchasing, inventory, warehouse management, and PLM.
- Experience managing a technical vendor/implementation partner relationship (e.g., CGS) for engineering and technical support.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system configuration and process design.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills; comfortable operating at a director / senior manager level.
- Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at CGS, or as a BlueCherry implementation/functional consultant.
- Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) common in wholesale apparel.
- Exposure to adjacent fashion ERP/PLM tools (Centric, YuniquePLM, Infor Fashion, NGC) is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- BlueCherry runs reliably with strong user adoption and satisfaction across business teams.
- Support issues are resolved quickly, with CGS engaged efficiently only where true technical/engineering work is needed.
- Business best practices for wholesale operations are documented, adopted, and consistently followed.

Tips for Your Remote ERP Consultant Job Search
Show async delivery in your application
Remote erp consultant hiring managers want proof you can run a workstream without daily oversight. Include examples in your resume or cover letter where you managed configuration tasks, stakeholder updates, or testing cycles entirely through written documentation, tickets, or video walkthroughs rather than in-person meetings.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote erp consultant openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your ERP platform experience and apply directly without sorting through mixed on-site and hybrid listings.
Lead with your ERP platform depth
Remote employers screen fast and filter by platform first. Make sure SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite appears near the top of your resume with the specific modules you've configured, not buried in a general skills list.
Prepare for remote-specific interview questions
Expect interviewers to ask how you handle cross-time-zone client calls, document configuration decisions for a distributed team, and escalate issues without walking to someone's desk. Have a concrete example ready for each before your first screen.
Remote ERP Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote erp consultant job?
Target companies that already run distributed teams or have gone remote-first, since they're built for async collaboration and won't expect you on-site for client calls or system walkthroughs. Remote erp consultant roles screen hard for written communication, the ability to manage your own project milestones without daily check-ins, and hands-on configuration experience in platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Candidates who can demonstrate past remote delivery or show documented results from a prior implementation stand out immediately.
Which companies hire remote erp consultants?
Remote erp consultant roles are posted by PCG, PwC, and Teccweb Solutions and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring tends to concentrate at remote-first consulting firms, large enterprises with distributed IT teams, and mid-market companies in manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services that run ERP rollouts without a centralized office.
Can you get a remote erp consultant job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level erp consultant roles are harder to land than on-site ones, because employers expect you to troubleshoot and communicate independently from day one without a senior consultant nearby. Your strongest move is to complete a recognized implementation certification in SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, then document any hands-on lab work, academic ERP projects, or internship configurations as concrete evidence. Smaller remote-first firms and boutique consulting shops are more likely to take a chance on junior candidates than large integrators.
Do you need a degree for remote erp consultant jobs?
Not always. Many remote erp consultant roles list a degree as preferred rather than required, and remote employers weigh module-specific certifications, documented implementation experience, and the ability to manage a configuration workstream independently more heavily than a diploma. Candidates who can show they've completed a full ERP cycle, even in a junior or support role, routinely move past degree requirements in remote hiring pipelines.
Which industries hire the most remote erp consultants?
Most remote erp consultant openings sit in Technology & Software, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors hire remotely because their ERP rollouts run on distributed project teams where consultants work across multiple client environments simultaneously without needing to be co-located.
