What you will do
- Own the vision, strategy, and execution of field marketing across AMER, EMEA, and APJ — building a scalable center of excellence (plans, playbooks, reporting) that keeps every region consistent while localizing where it matters, and acts as the voice of the field back to global GTM.
- Own the end-to-end ABM and territory demand gen strategy across events, digital, content, and outbound — driven by intent and account-fit data, engineered for asymmetric security buying committees, and inclusive of named accountability for Sysdig's visibility in AI-assisted discovery (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, AI Overviews).
- Set the strategy, standards, and calendar for the full event portfolio (RSAC, Black Hat, KubeCon, hosted summits, CISO dinners, partner events) — rebalancing deliberately toward owned, intimate, experience-led formats with rigorous ROI discipline and executive engagement that gets Sysdig leaders in front of buying committees earlier.
- Serve as the senior marketing partner to regional sales and RevOps — aligning on territory strategy, whitespace, pipeline, and revenue through territory planning, forecasts, and QBRs, while developing strategic co-marketing with cloud, technology, and channel partners to scale through-partner pipeline.
- Own and forecast the global field marketing budget and establish a data-centric operating model — clear KPIs, multi-method measurement (attribution, incrementality, win-loss), and clean bidirectional integration across the event stack, Marketo, and Salesforce — holding every program accountable for ROI and pipeline contribution.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing distributed team and operationalize a "human + AI" model — turning higher-value AI use cases (event selection, agentic list building, personalized follow-up at scale) into repeatable, measured workflows with clear quality guardrails, while communicating strategy and performance to executive stakeholders.
What you will bring with you
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years leading and building field, regional, or demand generation teams — ideally distributed across multiple geographies.
- Deep familiarity with the enterprise cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure buyer. You understand how CISOs, security architects, and platform teams actually evaluate, and how procurement, legal, and finance shape the outcome.
- Proven track record owning a multi-million-dollar budget and a pipeline number, with the receipts to show measurable revenue impact at scale.
- Expertise across the full demand funnel, ABM, intent data, and enterprise event execution — with a strong point of view on where field investment does and does not pay back.
- Demonstrated AI fluency as a builder, not just a user. You have put AI into real marketing workflows and can point to what you built, what it replaced, and what it produced. You have a clear view on where AI genuinely creates leverage versus where it is hype.
- Hands-on command of a modern GTM stack: Marketo, Salesforce, an ABM/intent platform (6sense, Demandbase, or similar), event tech, and BI/reporting. Comfort with AI-native GTM tooling is a strong plus.
- Track record of operating as a strategic leader — building cross-functional partnerships, influencing executive stakeholders, making the business case, and leading planning across regions and time zones.
- Willingness to travel meaningfully, roughly 20-40%, including some evenings and weekends around major industry moments.
What we look for
- A strategic, business-minded leader who balances big-picture vision with hands-on execution. At this level, the job is to build the system that runs the programs.
- A pipeline mindset. You measure success in opportunities and revenue influenced, not attendance or lead counts. You know the number a program will produce before it happens and you prove the one it did after.
- Strong people leadership. You hire well, develop people, and get the best out of a team spread across three regions.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.
- Intellectual honesty about what is working. You kill your own programs when the data says to.
- Genuine curiosity about how this discipline is changing, and the confidence to rebuild rather than defend. A “we have always done it this way” mindset will not succeed here.
- Excellent judgment under ambiguity, and the operational discipline to run many programs across many markets without dropping quality.
When you join Sysdig, you can expect

Tips for Your Remote Field Marketing Manager Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote field marketing manager openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly. Remote postings at well-funded SaaS and B2B tech companies fill fast, so applying in the first few days matters.
Prove async communication in your application
Remote field marketing managers communicate program updates, budget requests, and campaign results entirely in writing. Write your cover letter and follow-up emails the way you would run an async project update: clear, structured, and decision-ready without a call to clarify.
Document remote campaign results concretely
Remote employers can not observe your work, so your resume needs to show outcomes, not activities. List pipeline generated, event attendance driven, or regional revenue influenced with numbers. A record of independently managed programs that hit targets is the single strongest signal you can show.
Target remote-first companies in your sector
Remote-first SaaS firms and distributed B2B tech companies are the most consistent remote field marketing manager employers. Search by company type, not just job title. A company built around distributed teams will have the infrastructure and culture that makes remote field marketing work long-term.
Remote Field Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote field marketing manager job?
Target remote-first SaaS companies, B2B tech firms, and healthcare technology companies, which hire field marketing managers on distributed teams most consistently. Remote employers screen hard for self-direction, strong async written communication, and the ability to manage regional programs without in-person oversight. Showing measurable pipeline contribution from past campaigns and fluency with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms gives candidates a clear edge.
Which companies hire remote field marketing managers?
Employers currently hiring remote field marketing managers include Myriad360, Celsius Network, and Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote field marketing manager roles are most common at remote-first SaaS firms, enterprise software companies, and distributed healthcare technology organizations that run regional programs without requiring marketers to be office-based.
Can you get a remote field marketing manager job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level field marketing manager roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage programs independently from day one without in-person mentorship. Smaller SaaS startups and growth-stage B2B companies are the most likely to hire early-career candidates remotely. Showing contract event coordination, freelance demand generation work, or a documented campaign project that produced measurable results can substitute for full-time experience.
Do you need a degree for remote field marketing manager jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh demonstrated pipeline results, CRM proficiency, and event execution experience alongside or instead of a formal degree. Certifications in platforms like HubSpot or Marketo, combined with a portfolio showing regional campaign outcomes, can offset the absence of a four-year degree at remote-first companies focused on performance over credentials.
Which industries hire the most remote field marketing managers?
Most remote field marketing manager openings sit in Technology & Software, Medical Devices, and Electronics & Hardware, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors hire field marketing managers remotely because their distributed sales teams operate across large territories and need marketers who can execute regional programs without being tied to a single office location.
