UtiliSave has recovered over $700 million in utility refunds and savings for large commercial and industrial clients — hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, hotels, and government facilities — across the United States. We find actionable savings in 94% of the accounts we audit, including clients previously reviewed by other firms. We work on a pure contingency basis: if we recover nothing, the client pays nothing. And we are not done. We are marching towards One Billion dollars, and we need the marketing leader who will help us get there.
This is not a role for someone who wants to execute someone else's playbook. We are looking for a senior B2B marketing professional who will own UtiliSave's brand, lead generation engine, and thought leadership platform, building on 35 years of industry credibility to drive measurable pipeline growth and establish UtiliSave and its CEO as the authoritative voice in utility cost recovery.
We are seeking a senior B2B marketing leader who brings deep expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, paid media, and lead generation — with the strategic instincts and executional discipline to translate UtiliSave's extraordinary track record into the dominant brand in utility cost recovery. The right candidate will own our CEO thought leadership platform, amplifying UtiliSave's standing through LinkedIn, industry media, speaking engagements, and content that positions us ahead of competitors who cannot match our 35-year track record.
UtiliSave's success is driven by out-of-the-box thinking, a ceaseless energy to achieve success on behalf of our clients, and the ability to uncover novel opportunities within a complex set of rules. We expect our marketing leader to bring the same traits: intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving, and an ownership mentality that produces measurable results — not just activity.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and executing B2B marketing programs that generate measurable pipeline, not just impressions. This person is as comfortable setting strategy as rolling up their sleeves to execute. You may be writing a LinkedIn post in the morning, briefing a paid media campaign at noon, and reviewing performance analytics against pipeline targets in the afternoon. This is a senior role with a direct line of influence on company revenue.
What You Will Own
This role carries direct ownership across three domains:
- Brand & Thought Leadership: UtiliSave's market position, CEO personal brand on LinkedIn and industry platforms, speaking and PR pipeline, and all external content and messaging.
- Demand Generation: End-to-end digital marketing — SEO/SEM, paid media, email, and content — with accountability to pipeline metrics, not campaign metrics.
- Marketing Operations: Budget, analytics stack, CRM integration, reporting cadence, and continuous channel optimization against measurable revenue outcomes.
What You Will Build Here
You are joining as UtiliSave's founding marketing leader — the person who establishes the function, sets the standards, and defines how UtiliSave goes to market. As the business scales toward the One-Billion-dollar milestone and beyond, you will help select and build a marketing support team: identifying talent gaps, participating in hiring decisions, and managing and developing the people you bring on. The expectation is not that you do everything alone forever. It is that you build something that lasts.
To apply, email your resume, a brief cover letter, and if available, a portfolio or examples of B2B marketing campaigns you have led to recruiting@utilisave.com. Use the job title as the subject line. Please include your state of residence, work authorization status, and compensation expectations.
Requirements
Please confirm you meet the following before applying:
- Full-time remote; core hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone (CT Zone states: Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or active Green Card holder. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Must have the certifications and proficiency in the technologies noted in the job description.
- Own the marketing roadmap — setting priorities, allocating budget, tracking performance against pipeline and revenue targets, and continuously optimizing based on data.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies — social media, email campaigns, content, and all marketing materials — with every initiative measured against its contribution to new client acquisition and brand authority.
- Lead brand strategy and ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across all touchpoints — ensuring UtiliSave's proof points (94% success rate, $700M+ recovered, 35-year track record, contingency model, legal backstop) are woven into every client-facing communication.
- Own and optimize all digital marketing channels — SEO/SEM, LinkedIn paid media (the primary B2B channel for this audience), Google Ads, email marketing, and website performance — with clear KPIs tied to lead volume, lead quality, and cost per acquired client.
- Conduct and supervise research to monitor market trends, competitive activity, and client behavior — identifying gaps and white space that UtiliSave can own before competitors do.
- Build and execute the CEO thought leadership platform: speaking engagements, industry publications, podcast opportunities, and LinkedIn content strategy that cement UtiliSave's CEO as the authoritative voice in utility cost recovery.
- Report on campaign results, ROI, pipeline impact, and brand health to leadership on a regular cadence, using dashboards and attribution data that connect marketing activity to revenue outcomes.
- Serve as brand guardian for all internal and external communications — ensuring every client touchpoint, proposal, and outreach reflects UtiliSave's positioning with precision and consistency.
- Participate in the selection and onboarding of marketing support staff as the team grows — setting clear role expectations, managing day-to-day work, and developing team members to expand the marketing function's capacity and reach.
- Build and manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers — maintaining quality and cost discipline while scaling output beyond what the internal team can execute alone.
- Leverage AI tools — including generative AI for content drafting, AI-assisted analytics, and marketing automation powered by machine learning — to maximize output, accelerate campaign cycles, and maintain UtiliSave's competitive edge. UtiliSave is actively integrating AI across its operations and expects its marketing leader to be at the forefront of that adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a strategy-owning or marketing leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring direct reports, junior staff, or agency/vendor teams — with a track record of developing talent and expanding team output.
- Proven success building and executing B2B strategic marketing plans that drove measurable pipeline growth — not just brand awareness. References and portfolio of results required.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, paid media, SEO/SEM, and performance analytics with a proven ability to tie channel performance to pipeline and revenue, not just impressions and clicks.
- Deep familiarity with LinkedIn as a B2B marketing and thought leadership platform including LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn Newsletter, and organic content strategy for company pages and executive profiles. LinkedIn is the primary channel for reaching UtiliSave's target buyer (CFOs, VPs of Real Estate Operations, Facilities Directors at large commercial and institutional organizations) and hands-on expertise is required, not optional.
- Current certifications in Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, SEO, and email marketing/CRM platforms strongly preferred. Certifications demonstrate currency — this industry moves fast and we expect our marketing leader to stay ahead of it.
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred), marketing automation tools, and data visualization/reporting platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and video editing software — with the ability to produce professional-quality content independently when needed.
- Experience with website management platforms (WordPress preferred; Squarespace or Wix acceptable).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI-powered marketing tools — generative AI for content creation, AI-assisted analytics platforms, and machine learning-driven marketing automation. UtiliSave is actively integrating AI across its operations; the successful candidate leads that adoption, not follows it.
- Self-starter with a proactive, creative mindset and an ownership mentality — this person does not wait to be told what the next initiative is.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under tight time constraints.
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels — from writing a LinkedIn post the CEO is proud to publish to present pipeline analytics to the leadership team.
Additional Information
- UtiliSave is growing rapidly and this role grows with the company. As UtiliSave expands its client base toward the One-Billion-dollar milestone, the marketing function will scale in budget, headcount, and strategic influence. You will be its architect.

Tips for Your Remote Head Of Growth Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote head of growth openings from companies across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your experience level and focus area and apply directly without sorting through unrelated listings.
Prove async communication in your application
Remote hiring teams for this role read your written materials closely as a proxy for how you will communicate on the job. Your cover note and any take-home case should be concise, structured, and free of anything that needs a call to clarify.
Build a documented growth experiment portfolio
Remote employers cannot watch you work, so they rely on proof. Put together two or three write-ups of growth experiments you ran, what hypothesis you tested, what you shipped, and what moved. Specific numbers beat a list of tools every time.
Target remote-first companies over hybrid postings
Remote-first companies have built their growth team workflows around distributed collaboration from the start, which means fewer coordination gaps and clearer async norms. Filter for companies that do not list a headquarters city as preferred or required.
Remote Head Of Growth Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote head of growth job?
Target remote-first companies and distributed startups, since those teams are built to work asynchronously and are the most consistent remote hirers for this role. Remote employers screen hard for self-direction, clear written communication, and the ability to run experiments without hand-holding. A candidate stands out by showing documented growth results, comfort with async tools like Notion and Slack, and a history of driving outcomes with minimal supervision.
Which companies hire remote head of growths?
Remote head of growth roles are posted by Clients Blackbox, Block, and Flex and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These tend to be remote-first SaaS companies, venture-backed consumer apps, and distributed fintech or ecommerce teams that rely on a dedicated growth function to scale acquisition and retention without a central office.
Can you get a remote head of growth job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level head of growth roles are harder to land because you need to prove you can work independently from day one. Early-stage startups and lean remote teams are the most open to less experienced candidates. Showing a side project with real growth metrics, a growth experiment you ran, or a documented acquisition channel you built gives hiring managers something concrete to evaluate in place of a resume full of titles.
Do you need a degree for remote head of growth jobs?
Not always. Remote employers hiring for this role care far more about what you have actually moved, whether that is user acquisition numbers, conversion rates, or revenue growth, than where you studied. A portfolio of documented results, fluency with growth tooling, and clear written communication matter more to most remote hiring teams than a specific degree field or credential.
Which industries hire the most remote head of growths?
The sectors hiring the most remote head of growths are Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These industries hire head of growths remotely because their products are digital, their teams are distributed by design, and growth functions naturally across time zones without needing everyone in the same office.
