Sofa USA designs and manufactures customizable sofas and sectionals in Los Angeles. Our customers can choose their size, configuration, fabric, color and comfort instead of settling for mass-produced furniture.
We operate showrooms in La Puente and Downey, supported by our manufacturing facility in City of Industry. We have proven products, existing customers and the production capacity to grow. Now we need the right marketing leader to help us reach more people and build a consistent system for generating sales.
The Opportunity
We are hiring our first Head of Marketing to lead the growth of Sofa USA.
We are not looking for someone to follow a marketing plan we have already figured out. We need an experienced marketer who can learn our business, understand our customers, identify the best opportunities and help us determine what we should do next.
You will own the marketing strategy and personally execute the most important parts of it, including paid advertising, creative strategy, content, offers and customer acquisition.
Initially, you will be our primary marketing operator. As the company grows, you will have the opportunity to hire and lead a team underneath you.
This is a builder role, not a position for someone who only wants to manage an existing department.
Your Primary Goal
Build a repeatable marketing system that produces qualified showroom traffic, profitable sales and long-term brand growth.
What You’ll Own
- Develop our overall marketing and customer-acquisition strategy
- Identify our strongest customer segments and how to reach them
- Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns across Meta and Google
- Create campaigns around our best-selling products, showrooms and promotions
- Develop creative concepts, advertisements and short-form content
- Build a consistent organic social media strategy
- Improve landing pages, lead forms, CRM follow-up and appointment booking
- Connect advertising performance to showroom visits and completed sales
- Work with our sales team to understand lead quality and customer objections
- Recommend new channels, tools, contractors and future marketing hires
You will have access to our showrooms, factory, products, sales team, existing advertising data and creative assets.
What Success Looks Like
- A clear marketing strategy based on real customer and sales data
- Consistent qualified traffic coming into our showrooms
- Advertising that can be connected to appointments and sales
- A repeatable process for testing new creative, offers and audiences
- Stronger brand awareness across Southern California
- Clear reporting on what is working, what is not and what we should do next
- A plan for building the future marketing department
Who We’re Looking For
Years of experience matter less to us than proof that you can produce results.
You should have:
- Hands-on experience running campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager
- Examples of campaigns that generated leads, customers or revenue
- A strong understanding of creative strategy, offers and customer acquisition
- Experience with social media and short-form video content
- The ability to evaluate the entire customer journey, not only the advertisement
- An understanding of metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CPA and conversion rate
- The ability to think strategically while still executing the work
- Strong ownership, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work full-time onsite in City of Industry and regularly visit our showrooms
Experience with local retail, furniture, high-ticket products, Shopify, GoHighLevel or conversion tracking is valuable but not required.
This Role Is Not a Fit If
- You have only coordinated with agencies and never managed campaigns yourself
- You measure success mainly through followers, views or engagement
- You want to create strategy without participating in execution
- You need a large existing team before you can make progress
- You are looking for a remote position
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person

Tips for Your Head Of Growth Job Search
Quantify growth experiments in your resume
Hiring managers for head of growth roles want to see your methodology, not just outcomes. List the experiments you ran, the channels you tested, and the conversion or retention numbers that moved as a result of your decisions.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists head of growth openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Tailor your resume to the growth model
A product-led growth company wants different signals than a sales-led one. Read the job description for clues about their acquisition motion and mirror that language, whether it is PLG, paid acquisition, SEO, or channel partnerships.
Build a portfolio of growth case studies
A two-page written case study or slide deck that walks through a single growth loop you owned, from hypothesis to execution to outcome, will differentiate you more than a polished resume alone.
Ask the right questions in your interview
Head of growth candidates are evaluated on how they think, not just what they have done. Ask the hiring team about their current activation bottleneck or where the biggest drop-off in their funnel is, then engage with their answer analytically.
Negotiate scope before you negotiate compensation
Clarify what budget, headcount, and channel ownership you will control from day one before entering compensation discussions. Misaligned expectations about authority are the most common reason new growth hires leave within the first year.
Head Of Growth Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most head of growths?
The companies hiring the most head of growths right now include Juno, Clients Blackbox, and RBUS, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Florida, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Startups at Series A through Series C stage consistently make up a significant portion of total openings for this role.
How many head of growth jobs are remote?
About 79% of head of growth openings are fully remote or hybrid as of September 2026, making it one of the more flexible senior roles in marketing. Sub-specializations focused on SEO, lifecycle email, and paid acquisition tend to have the highest concentration of remote-eligible positions, while roles that require close collaboration with sales or product teams are more likely to require on-site presence.
How do you become a head of growth?
Start by building deep expertise in at least one growth channel, such as paid acquisition, SEO, or product-led onboarding, then expand your skill set across the full funnel. Move into roles where you own a measurable metric like activation rate or CAC. Document experiments you ran and results you drove. Progress through growth marketing manager and senior growth roles before targeting head of growth positions at companies whose growth stage matches your experience.
Can you get a head of growth job with little experience?
It is possible to break into a head of growth role early by targeting early-stage startups where the title reflects ownership over a function rather than a large team. Build a portfolio of self-directed projects, freelance growth work, or documented experiments from a previous role. Companies at the pre-seed or seed stage often hire growth leads who are earlier in their career but can move fast and operate without much structure.
What does the head of growth interview process look like?
The interview process for a head of growth role typically starts with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager conversation focused on your growth philosophy and past results. Most companies then assign a take-home case study or a live whiteboard session where you diagnose a growth problem and propose a roadmap. Final rounds usually involve presentations to a cross-functional panel including product, data, and sometimes a founder or executive.
Where can I find and apply to head of growth jobs?
You can find and apply to head of growth jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States in one place. Search the listings to find roles that match your background and experience level, then apply directly to each one that fits.
