Noblis is seeking Project Managers to facilitate telecom service orders for the FAA, focusing on the non-technical aspects of the order projects. They oversee all aspects of project management required for successful completion of assigned service order projects, including project integration management, scope management, schedule management, quality management, resource management, stakeholder management, communication management and risk management. They monitor and control each project per FAA customer expectations. Project Managers develop and maintain all templates and other standard artifacts used by the greater team.
Project Managers provide programmatic support including: day to day tracking of on-going projects, deliverables, and milestones; meeting support; tracking of team status reports and performance. These staff will perform QA/QC over the FAA’s Enterprise Project Management tool, Status Tracker, Quad Charts, and triage requests for support, as well as the initial contact with the customer system or program to determine the level of support that will be needed for each customer. Tips for Your Remote Project Lead Job Search
Show your async communication skills upfront
Remote project leads are evaluated on how well they communicate without real-time contact. Include writing samples, documented project plans, or status update templates in your application materials to demonstrate you can keep distributed teams aligned without meetings.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote project lead openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly. Applying early matters because remote roles attract candidates from every time zone.
Highlight the tools remote teams actually use
Remote employers look for fluency in tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, Slack, and Notion. Name the specific platforms you have managed projects on and describe how you used them to coordinate work across distributed contributors.
Prepare for remote-specific interview questions
Remote project lead interviews often probe how you handle blocked tasks without escalating to a manager, how you document decisions, and how you build accountability across team members in different time zones. Prepare concrete examples for each scenario.
Remote Project Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote project lead job?
Remote project leads are hired by remote-first software companies, distributed consulting firms, and healthcare technology organizations that need someone who can coordinate work independently across time zones. Employers screen for strong written communication, comfort with asynchronous tools like Jira and Confluence, and a demonstrated ability to keep projects moving without in-person oversight. Candidates who surface clear examples of driving deliverables without daily check-ins stand out.
Which companies hire remote project leads?
Employers currently hiring remote project leads include Turner & Townsend Pty Limited, GE Vernova, and Artemis ARC, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Remote-first technology firms, distributed healthcare platforms, and professional services companies with geographically spread teams are among the most consistent hirers of this role.
Can you get a remote project lead job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level project lead roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage timelines and stakeholders with minimal hand-holding from day one. Remote-first companies in software and operations occasionally hire junior project leads. Showing a portfolio of coordinated work, certifications like CAPM, and comfort with project management tools can substitute for direct title experience.
Do you need a degree for remote project lead jobs?
Not always. Remote employers weigh demonstrated project delivery and tool proficiency heavily alongside formal credentials. Candidates who can show completed projects, clear documentation habits, and results in past roles are competitive even without a four-year degree, particularly at remote-first technology and operations companies where output matters more than pedigree.
Which industries hire the most remote project leads?
Remote project lead roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Insurance, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Those sectors rely on distributed teams coordinating across locations, which makes remote project leads a consistent staffing priority rather than an exception.
