About the Role
PayrHealth is hiring an experienced revenue cycle professional to own a portfolio of institutional billing clients, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and outpatient service lines. You will be the operational expert for your accounts, overseeing the full revenue cycle from charge entry through denials and AR, whether the work is handled internally or by our BPO partners. This is a high-independence role for someone who likes owning outcomes, chasing root cause, and holding partners to a standard.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the operational owner for an assigned portfolio of hospital, ASC, and outpatient clients, holding deep knowledge of their workflows, PAYOR mix, and systems
- Oversee institutional claim workflows (UB-04 / 837I), including bill type, revenue code, and condition, occurrence, and value code accuracy
- Oversee charge capture and chargemaster (CDM) integrity, reconciling against operative, implant, and high-cost supply logs
- Apply working knowledge of OPPS and IPPS methodology, APC and DRG grouping, ASC payment rules, and Medicare Secondary Payer requirements
- Manage complex denial resolution, OCE and NCCI edits, and facility-specific authorization denials, and drive denial trend analysis
- Direct and coach BPO partner teams, review audit results, and lead weekly and monthly KPI reviews
What You Bring
- 4+ years in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations
- Hands-on experience with CPSI, HST Pathways, or Meditech (more than one preferred)
- Strong command of institutional billing (UB-04 / 837I), revenue codes, chargemaster structure, and facility charge capture
- Working knowledge of APC and DRG grouping, OPPS and IPPS, OCE and NCCI edits
- Experience with complex denials, PAYOR appeals, and AR or audit review
- Experience overseeing BPO or offshore teams strongly preferred
- Certification such as CPC, CRCR, or CHFP preferred
