Site Smart Marketing is looking for an AI-obsessed, technical, detail-focused person to support the systems and marketing work that help our clients get found online across search engines, local search, ecommerce, and AI platforms.
This role combines AI, automation, SEO, AIO/GEO, analytics, and marketing systems. You should be someone who actively uses and tests AI tools, understands their different strengths, enjoys improving inefficient processes, and is comfortable working across a lot of platforms and data.
This is a behind-the-scenes technical marketing role, not a client-facing account management or content writing position. You will work with our SEO, marketing, operations, and web teams to improve client visibility while making the systems and workflows behind that work smarter, cleaner, and more efficient.
What You'll Do
- Support client visibility across Google Search, local search, Google Business Profiles, ecommerce, and AI-powered search and answer platforms.
- Support SEO, AIO, and GEO work for local service-based businesses and ecommerce clients.
- Help identify and resolve issues affecting how client businesses, services, products, and content are found online.
- Use AI tools to research, analyze, improve, automate, and quality-check marketing work.
- Test how client brands and information appear across AI platforms and identify visibility gaps or opportunities.
- Set up, organize, migrate and consolidate across agency platforms.
- Handle technical portions of client onboarding and offboarding.
- Manage Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), account access, properties, and related setup.
- Complete assigned technical SEO, analytics, automation, and administrative tickets accurately and independently.
- Identify problems and create clear tickets when another team member needs to take action.
- Find repetitive or inefficient processes and help turn them into better workflows and automations.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, documentation, and internal systems.
- Assist with platform migrations, account cleanup, and data organization.
- Test new AI, SEO, marketing, and automation tools and help determine where they can improve our work.
- Document processes so they can be used consistently across the team.
Skill Qualifications & Experience Required
- Strong hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of SEO at an assistant level or higher.
- Familiarity with AIO, GEO, AI search optimization, or how generative AI platforms discover and surface businesses and information.
- Experience with Google Business Profiles and local SEO.
- Familiarity with ecommerce SEO, marketing, or product visibility.
- Experience with automation tools, workflow systems, or connecting processes across multiple platforms.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Strong Google Sheets skills, including working with formulas, data, and large or detailed spreadsheets.
- Experience with Google Docs and Google Workspace.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar software quickly.
