USEF supports education and analysis to promote nonpartisan policy solutions that advance renewable energy and energy efficiency, while opening doors to greater innovation and productivity—growing the economy with dramatically less pollution. For more than 30 years, USEF has supported grantees to help educate policymakers and the general public about the benefits of a clean energy economy. Our grantees include business, health, environmental, labor, equity, community, faith, and consumer groups, as well as policy experts, think tanks, universities, and more.
We are working daily to create equitable systems that support people to flourish. We aim to bring humility, transparency, respect, and an appreciation for others’ lived experiences to our interactions with colleagues, grantees, and partners.
USEF’s Fundraising Philosophy
As USEF’s primary clients and partners are our funders and grantees, USEF commits to acting as a strategic thought leader for our current and prospective funding partners and the field by:

- Highlighting the opportunity for climate philanthropy to maximize benefits to disadvantaged communities and those most impacted by climate change
- Offering excellent, responsive service by providing proactive, compelling, and timely updates and information
USEF is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and our more than 100 staff members are based in locations throughout the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Western regions, where they can best serve our programs, partners, operations, and other functions.
USEF believes that a diverse workforce makes us a more effective organization and is essential for achieving a clean and equitable energy future. We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.

Tips for Your Remote Strategic Partnerships Manager Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote strategic partnerships manager openings from across the U.S. in one place. Filter by role and apply directly to the listings that match your background before they fill, since remote roles attract a larger national applicant pool than in-office positions.
Prove async relationship management in your resume
Remote employers want evidence you can build trust without face-to-face meetings. Call out partnerships you managed over video, email, or Slack, and name the CRM or collaboration tools you used. Quantify outcomes, such as deals closed or pipeline value added, so remote hiring managers can evaluate impact at a glance.
Build a written communication sample before interviewing
Remote strategic partnerships manager interviews often include a written exercise simulating a partner outreach email or proposal. Prepare a sample partner pitch or co-marketing brief in advance. Hiring teams use these to assess whether you can move a relationship forward without a room or a phone call.
Target remote-first companies in their early growth stage
Seed-to-Series B SaaS and fintech companies building their first partnerships function hire remotely by default and value candidates who can own a process from scratch. Search for companies that have recently announced funding rounds and lack a dedicated partnerships hire listed on their public team page.
Prepare for asynchronous interview rounds
Many remote employers run initial rounds through recorded video or written response tools rather than live calls. Practice answering behavioral questions about managing partner relationships, handling stalled deals, and coordinating across time zones in a clear, structured format you can deliver without real-time back-and-forth.
Remote Strategic Partnerships Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote strategic partnerships manager job?
Remote strategic partnerships manager roles go to candidates who demonstrate they can build and manage relationships without in-person contact. Remote employers screen heavily for written communication, async collaboration, and self-directed deal management. Showing experience closing or structuring partnerships independently, using tools like Slack, Notion, and CRM platforms, and presenting results clearly in writing gives you a real edge over candidates with equivalent in-person experience.
Which companies hire remote strategic partnerships managers?
Remote strategic partnerships manager roles are posted by Ingersoll-Rand, Siemens, and Molex and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The hiring comes largely from remote-first technology companies, SaaS platforms, and distributed media and fintech teams that rely on partnerships to drive growth without a physical sales presence.
Can you get a remote strategic partnerships manager job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level partnerships roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage relationships and move deals forward without close supervision from day one. Early-career candidates break in by showing documented outreach work, co-marketing projects, or affiliate program management, even from freelance or volunteer contexts. Remote-first startups and early-stage SaaS companies are the most open to candidates who can demonstrate initiative and clear written communication in lieu of direct experience.
Do you need a degree for remote strategic partnerships manager jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers care more about demonstrated relationship-building results, deal history, and CRM proficiency than a specific degree. A portfolio showing partnerships you initiated, structured, or grew, along with strong written communication samples, often carries more weight than a diploma. That said, a business, communications, or marketing degree can help you clear automated filters at larger companies with formal hiring pipelines.
Which industries hire the most remote strategic partnerships managers?
The sectors hiring the most remote strategic partnerships managers are Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current remote listings on Migrate Ate as of June 2026. These industries rely on distributed partnership teams to scale integrations, co-marketing agreements, and channel relationships across geographies without requiring managers to work from a central office.
