Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL) is an applied research and development center for scientific advancement in the areas of autonomy, robotics, artificial intelligence, command & control, human-machine symbiosis, spectrum operations, hypersonics and cyber. What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will working align side applied researchers and engineers who contribute to projects that redefine the cutting edge of customer and internally funded R&D:
- Researching, inventing, designing, and developing new approaches to computing technology, as well as develop innovative uses for existing technology.
- Creating and improving computer systems, applications, and algorithms.
- Solving complex computing problems through development of innovative prototypes and software systems.
- Evaluating systems against envisioned metrics.
- Authoring technical portions of proposals, presenting results and demonstrating prototypes to your teammates and program customers.
Who You Are:
- You have demonstrated a passion for cyber technologies, are self-motivation, and adept at research and prototype development
- You have a deep understanding of network protocols and inter-process communication
- You possess a strong technical background that might include experience in any of the following: software development with C, C++, and Python; debugging with gdb, Valgrind, windbg; Firmware or Kernel-level development; OS/Network/Application designs; vulnerability and malware analysis; or Reverse Engineering, IO, and CNO technology development.
- You revel in the thrill of finding solutions when the path isn't clear, the idea of creating groundbreaking operational capabilities excites you, and you thrive in an open, collaborative environment
