North American Roofing is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager. You'll lead complex sales cycles with property owners and facility managers, helping them solve the kind of structural challenges that come with owning a commercial roof, whether that's a repair, a re-roof, or an ongoing service plan. This is a remote field role with real autonomy: you'll build your own pipeline, own your accounts, and represent a company that's been solving roofing problems since 1979. This is a full time W2 position with a Base Salary plus commission.
What You'll Do
- Drive full sales cycles from prospecting to close, targeting regional and enterprise-wide accounts
- Develop account-specific strategies to reach the right decision-makers and grow business within existing accounts
- Prospect through cold calling, social media, email, and face-to-face meetings to open new regional, corporate, and national accounts
- Re-engage long-standing relationships and executive sponsors using consultative selling
- Build and present account strategy and tactical plans, documented in CRM
- Partner with our internal teams to make sure every customer is served well from first call to signed contract
- Stay sharp on industry trends and the competitive landscape so you can position NAR effectively
- Travel as needed (up to 75%) to meet customers where they are, including offices, rooftops, and job sites
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong solution-selling background
- 2+ years selling to large enterprise accounts, both new and existing
- Experience in roofing, facilities, or commercial construction sales
- Comfort with long, complex sales cycles involving major capital expenditures
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in HubSpot or Salesforce, plus Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally climb or lift up to 50 lbs as part of on-site visits
- A valid motor vehicle record that passes our screening
Nice to have: experience selling contractor-type services to large enterprises, MS Dynamics and Hubspot training, experience working with consultants, or formal training in SPIN, Sandler, The Challenger, or similar sales methodologies.

Roofing Jobs in Alabama: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a roofing contractor in Alabama?
To work as a licensed roofing contractor in Alabama, you must obtain a Home Builders License through the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board, which requires passing a trade and business law exam along with proof of insurance and a surety bond. Journeyman and laborer positions typically require on-the-job training or completion of an apprenticeship, often through a local contractor or a program affiliated with the Associated Builders and Contractors Alabama chapter.
Which companies hire roofings in Alabama?
Employers hiring roofings in Alabama right now include TeamCraft Roofing, Roof Technology Partners, and Best Choice Roofing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Alabama's active construction and storm restoration market means regional specialty contractors and national restoration firms both maintain ongoing crews throughout the state.
Which Alabama cities have the most roofing jobs?
The cities with the most roofing openings in Alabama are Birmingham, Mobile, and Huntsville. Birmingham leads because of its size and steady commercial and residential construction activity, while Huntsville's rapid growth driven by aerospace and defense investment has fueled significant new building, and Mobile's Gulf Coast location generates consistent storm repair and replacement work for both residential and industrial roofing crews.
Are there remote roofing jobs in Alabama?
Yes, but they're rare. About 72% of roofing openings tied to Alabama are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the hands-on, site-dependent nature of most roofing work. The limited remote opportunities that do exist tend to involve estimating, project management, or sales roles where most of the work can be done by phone and computer between site visits.
How can I get hired as a roofing in Alabama with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to residential roofing contractors in Birmingham, Huntsville, or Mobile as a laborer or roofing helper, where most skills are taught on the job. Large regional contractors and storm restoration companies regularly bring on entry-level crew members during busy seasons. Completing a pre-apprenticeship with the Alabama chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors or enrolling in a construction trades program at a local community college strengthens your candidacy, and earning OSHA-10 certification gives you a concrete edge over other applicants with no prior roofing background.
Where can I find and apply to roofing jobs in Alabama?
You can find and apply to roofing jobs in Alabama on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring across the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
