How do I get a sales consultant job in Baltimore?
Focus your search on Baltimore's strongest hiring sectors: healthcare technology, financial services, and commercial real estate. Firms clustered in Harbor East, the Inner Harbor, and Towson's suburban office parks post the most openings. Candidates with B2B experience, familiarity with consultative selling, and a local professional network tend to stand out. Attending Baltimore-area industry events and connecting with regional sales teams gives you a concrete edge in this market.
Which companies hire sales consultants in Baltimore?

Baltimore's mix of regional financial institutions, health system vendors, and commercial property firms means employer types range from mid-size technology companies to large enterprise accounts with local offices.
Are there remote sales consultant jobs in Baltimore?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Inside sales and software-focused consultant positions tend to be remote-friendly, while roles tied to in-person client relationships or showroom environments are rarely remote. About 50% of sales consultant openings tied to Baltimore are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the highest remote share in technology and financial services accounts.
How can I get a sales consultant job in Baltimore with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Baltimore is through business development representative or sales associate roles at the city's growing health IT and financial technology firms, many of which run structured onboarding programs. Retailers and insurance carriers along the Towson and White Marsh corridors also hire entry-level candidates and promote from within. Highlighting customer service experience, completing a relevant certification, and applying directly to companies with Baltimore offices gives new candidates the strongest footing locally.
