Sales Development Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development manager job in Seattle?
Focus your search on South Lake Union and the Central Business District, where cloud technology, enterprise SaaS, and marketplace companies concentrate most of their sales leadership hiring. Mid-size and growth-stage software companies in Seattle often promote from SDR or account executive ranks, so prior pipeline-building experience in tech is a strong differentiator. Familiarity with Seattle's outbound-heavy sales culture and tools like Salesforce and Outreach gives candidates a clear edge.
Which companies hire sales development managers in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring sales development managers in Seattle include Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and SentiLink, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's hiring base is heavily weighted toward enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and consumer technology companies, with a mix of large publicly traded employers and well-funded scale-ups.
Are there remote sales development manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though sales development manager roles lean toward hybrid rather than fully remote because they typically involve cross-functional collaboration and coaching frontline SDR teams in person. About 44% of sales development manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with most flexibility concentrated at the individual contributor coaching and strategy portions of the role rather than team-leadership responsibilities.
How can I get a sales development manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is moving into management from a senior SDR or account executive role at one of the city's many growth-stage SaaS companies, which frequently promote internally. Companies in South Lake Union and Bellevue regularly hire team leads as a stepping stone, and proving you can build and hit pipeline targets is more persuasive than a management title. Volunteering to mentor newer SDRs at your current employer strengthens your case significantly.
Which industries hire the most sales development managers in Seattle?
The sectors hiring the most sales development managers in Seattle are Technology & Software, E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's outsized concentration of cloud computing, enterprise software, and e-commerce companies creates consistent year-round demand for sales development leadership that outpaces most other U.S. markets.
