Sales Operations Manager Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations manager in Washington?
Most sales operations manager roles in Washington require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, with no state-issued license needed for the role itself. Washington employers, particularly in the Seattle and Bellevue technology corridor, strongly favor candidates with hands-on CRM experience and a background in sales support, revenue operations, or business analytics. Earning a Salesforce Administrator certification or a similar recognized credential meaningfully strengthens a candidate's profile in this market.
How much do sales operations managers make in Washington?
Sales operations managers in Washington earn a median of about $174,000 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,000 for the lowest 10% to over $291,620 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales operations managers in Washington?
Employers hiring sales operations managers in Washington right now include Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and Ursus, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Washington's dense concentration of large technology and enterprise software companies means demand is consistent year-round, with many openings tied to regional headquarters rather than satellite offices.
Which Washington cities have the most sales operations manager jobs?
Seattle, Bellevue, and Spokane have the most sales operations manager openings in Washington. Seattle and Bellevue dominate because they are home to major technology and cloud services headquarters, while Redmond draws significant volume from Microsoft's campus and its extensive network of partner and vendor organizations based nearby.
Are there remote sales operations manager jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 50% of sales operations manager openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how thoroughly the work relies on software platforms, data dashboards, and digital communication tools. The portions of the role most commonly performed remotely include CRM administration, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting, while cross-functional planning sessions with local sales teams often remain in-person.
How can I get hired as a sales operations manager in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a sales operations coordinator or sales analyst role at a Washington technology or enterprise software company, then building toward manager responsibilities. Large Washington employers including Microsoft and Amazon hire entry-level business operations and sales support associates who gain direct exposure to CRM tools and revenue reporting. A Salesforce Administrator certification or demonstrated Power BI skills gives candidates without formal operations experience a concrete edge when applying for these stepping-stone positions.
Where can I find and apply to sales operations manager jobs in Washington?
You can find and apply to sales operations manager jobs in Washington on Migrate Mate, which lists current Washington openings across industries including technology, aerospace, and enterprise software. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the ones that match.
