- Champion the customer experience — obsess over making the buying journey effortless, from first inquiry to delivery: quick responses, clear communication, and friction removed at every step.
- Design and automate a low-friction sales process — own the end-to-end buying journey as a program you continually improve. Standardize the repeatable steps and stand up the CRM, order management, tooling, and automation that scale it.
- Own the customer pipeline and reporting — triage inbound demand, track every opportunity from first contact through close, and maintain visibility on bookings, orders, and fulfillment status.
- Drive the deal lifecycle across teams — coordinate quotes, sales agreements, approvals, and hand-offs across Sales, Product, and Legal; partner with Legal to standardize contracting and IP-sharing.
- Manage onboarding in both directions — get Fauna approved as a vendor in customers' procurement systems, and shepherd new customers through post-purchase setup, delivery, and hand-off to support.
About the team
Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, is building capable, safe, and genuinely delightful robots for everyday life. Our goal is simple: make robots people actually want to live and interact with in everyday human spaces.
We believe that future won’t arrive until building for robotics becomes far more accessible. Today, too much effort is spent reinventing the fundamentals. We’re changing that by developing tightly integrated hardware and software systems that make it faster, safer, and more intuitive to create real-world robotic products.
Our work spans the full stack: mechanical design, control systems, dynamic modeling, and intelligent software. The focus is not just functionality, but experience. We’re building robots that feel responsive, expressive, and genuinely useful.
At Fauna, you’ll work at the frontier of this space, helping define how robots move, manipulate, and interact with people in natural environments. It’s an opportunity to solve hard problems across hardware and software with a team focused on making robotics accessible and joyful to build.
If you care about making robotics real for everyone and building systems that are as delightful as they are capable, we’re interested in hearing from you.

Most hiring managers expect a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field plus several years in a sales support, analyst, or coordinator role. Building Salesforce administrator certification and experience with New York-heavy industries like financial services or media technology strengthens a candidacy considerably in this market.
How much do sales operations managers make in New York?
Sales operations managers in New York earn a median of about $217,640 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $107,670 for the lowest 10% to over $378,910 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales operations managers in New York?
Employers hiring sales operations managers in New York right now include Paychex, Amazon, and ADP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New York's density of financial services firms, enterprise technology companies, and global media headquarters means openings appear consistently across a wide range of industries rather than clustering in one sector.
Which New York cities have the most sales operations manager jobs?
New York, Rochester, and Warners account for the largest share of sales operations manager openings in New York. New York City drives the majority of demand given its concentration of enterprise headquarters in finance, technology, and media, while suburban hubs like White Plains and Melville generate openings from regional corporate offices and distribution-focused organizations anchored outside the five boroughs.
Are there remote sales operations manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of sales operations manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and analytical nature of the work. Responsibilities like CRM administration, reporting, and process documentation translate well to remote arrangements, while quota-setting sessions and cross-functional planning meetings are most often conducted in a hybrid format.

The most realistic entry path is through a sales analyst, sales coordinator, or revenue operations associate role, all of which appear regularly at New York's large financial services firms, enterprise software companies, and media organizations.
