Sales Development Representative Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development representative job in Seattle?
Targeting Seattle's dense South Lake Union and Denny Triangle corridors gives you the best odds, where cloud software, cybersecurity, and enterprise SaaS companies hire SDRs in volume. Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools, CRM platforms, and pipeline metrics matters more here than in many markets. Candidates who can speak to technical buyers or demonstrate experience selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts stand out with Seattle's B2B-heavy employer base.
Which companies hire sales development representatives in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring sales development representatives in Seattle include SentiLink, Amazon Web Services, and Rippling, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's hiring mix leans toward high-growth SaaS startups, established cloud infrastructure firms, and B2B technology companies with large outbound sales teams.
Are there remote sales development representative jobs in Seattle?
Yes, SDR roles are relatively remote-friendly compared to field sales positions, since most outreach and pipeline work happens over phone, email, and video. About 51% of sales development representative openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the flexible arrangements most common at established SaaS and cloud companies. Fully on-site roles tend to cluster at early-stage startups that prioritize team coaching and in-person ramp-up.
How can I get a sales development representative job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is targeting high-growth SaaS startups in South Lake Union that run structured SDR training programs and routinely hire candidates from non-sales backgrounds. Customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or tech support translates well. Many Seattle companies also consider recent graduates who can demonstrate comfort with CRM tools and cold outreach. Internal BDR or sales coordinator roles at mid-size software firms offer a practical lateral move into a formal SDR track.
Which industries hire the most sales development representatives in Seattle?
The sectors hiring the most sales development representatives in Seattle are Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Distribution & Wholesale, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's outsized concentration of cloud computing, enterprise software, and B2B technology companies creates sustained SDR demand that outpaces most other U.S. markets outside the Bay Area.
