Sales Intern Jobs in Boston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales intern job in Boston?
Start by targeting the sectors where Boston sales intern demand is strongest: life sciences, SaaS, fintech, and professional services firms clustered in the Seaport District, Back Bay, and Kendall Square just across the river. Employers in these areas hire interns who can demonstrate comfort with CRM tools, cold outreach, or basic pipeline metrics. A campus connection to Northeastern, BU, or Emerson gives candidates a visible edge with Boston employers who recruit heavily from those programs.
Which companies hire sales interns in Boston?
Boston sales intern roles are posted by Road Scholar Educational Travel, PwC, and Ginkgo BioWorks and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Boston's intern market is shaped by a mix of growth-stage startups headquartered in the Seaport and established enterprise firms with regional offices in Back Bay and the Financial District.
Are there remote sales intern jobs in Boston?
Yes, though remote availability is limited for sales intern roles, since most positions involve shadowing account executives, attending client calls, or working from a sales floor. About 43% of sales intern openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated in inside sales and SaaS-focused roles where prospecting and pipeline work happens entirely on screen.
How can I get a sales intern job in Boston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Boston is applying to growth-stage startups in the Seaport or Kendall Square that run structured internship cohorts and value initiative over a resume. These employers often prioritize candidates who have done any customer-facing work, campus sales roles, or student-run business competitions. Reaching out directly to recruiting coordinators at Boston-based SaaS or life sciences companies, rather than waiting on job boards, consistently opens doors at the intern level.
Which industries hire the most sales interns in Boston?
The sectors hiring the most sales interns in Boston are Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, and Automotive, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Boston's concentration of biotech companies, venture-backed software firms, and regional financial institutions makes these sectors the primary engine of local internship demand year-round.
